One of my favorite authors (Lonesome Dove-and many, many other novels about the west. )

I saw that. Got a push notification on my phone.

My wife brought home a copy of Lonesome Dove, and I’ve looked longingly at it on the shelf more than a few times. Never read it. Of course, the mini-series was very popular with a number of us, and I recall long threads and allusions to it.
