Rams will be the second team in NFL history to play the Super Bowl in their own stadium

49er fans behind me crying about the Nick Scott hit even tho it was a clean hit as if they aren’t the dirtiest team in the NFL

Stafford was better than his counterpart 3 straight weeks. Sometimes we make this too much about the QBs but not in this one
    Kevin Patra@kpatra
Eric Weddle, who was retired for two seasons, led the Rams with 9 tackles, 1 TFL.
    TurfShowTimes@TurfShowTimes
The last time Eric Weddle played, touchdowns and turnovers were not automatic reviews

I don’t have enough words to describe how cool it was to see Kendall Blanton step up. Completely took advantage of his opportunity. The Rams had zero (0) remaining tight ends after Blanton. He had to play every single snap after Higbee’s injury and came up huge multiple times

I just noticed Greg Gaines tackling Travin Howard after the interception. That’s hilarious. And smart.

Kyle Shanahan must HATE having the lead in the 4th quarter

In other news, big Whit gets to now play his former team in the superbowl.

Regardless of the result i think it’s fair to say that there is a good chance it could now be his last game.

What a befitting finale for an outstanding tackle!

It was LOUD when Niners were on O.

Very very very Happy for all our Ram players, with a special appreciation for Matthew Stafford and his journey!

The Rams clearly have a couple problematic personnel issues on defense, but by and large, I think Raheem Morris is due some apologies. And the Rams actually outrushed the 49ers today.

Always felt Cooper Kupp would have made a difference in Super Bowl LIII. Now he gets a chance to play in the big one

    Brady Henderson@BradyHenderson
Sean McVay: “We have no chance of being here without Cooper Kupp.” The NFL’s triple crown winner (and Yakima, Wash. native) had two more TD catches tonight.

Stafford has been the best 4th quarter QB this season. He’s known for his 4th quarter comebacks. Comes down to this final 15 minutes.

This year’s 6 divisional-round and conference final games were decided by a TOTAL of 21 points.

Six games, 21 points. Five of them were 3-point margins. Two amazingly entertaining weekends.

Von Miller who is playing at such a high level said “these guys are ready.”

He told teammates it’s OK to be anxious, little nervous.
He’s 1 of 2 players on the Rams who has a Super Bowl ring.

He told me with so much poise
    “We are winning this game.”

Bill Walsh’s last season as the 49ers’ coach was in 1988, yet his influence continues even now. All four coaches in today’s AFC and NFC Championship Games – Andy Reid, Zac Taylor, Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan – are from the Walsh coaching tree.

This team overcame a goal line turnover… 2 dropped tds… 4 missed personal foul calls, a missed fg, and the failed fourth and short, and still won the game while trailing by 10 in the fourth quarter… This team just has IT this season

Other than the challenges and the blown 3rd and 4th and 1 plays where they didn’t give the ball to Sony Michel either time, I thought McVay’s gameplan was very sound. More quick passes than the last game against SF

This gets interesting when RG3 (who was coached by McVay) talks about

McVay and Gruden.  They ‘dont develop talent, they like older guys who can play…”

You guys may have seen this article before, but I just stumbled upon it. A few of the things I knew, but I was surprised at “Crazy Stat 2.” The 49ers didn’t gain a single yard in the final 12 minutes.

Anybody know when Donald circled up the defense?

10 crazy stats from Rams’ 20-17 win vs. 49ers in NFC Championship

according to d’marco farr it was after the niners had just scored.  the niners scored a touchdown in the third quarter, so i assume it was after that drive.  their only other scores were 10 points in the second quarter.  they never scored again after that third quarter touchdown.
