The Talib play was weird. I dunno what he was doing.
But THE weirdest play was the bad-call that went against Dallas. The phantom sack. That was the worst ‘in the grasp’ call I’ve ever seen.

vIf I understand you right, what you are saying there is that you hate the Rams.
Noted.
January 14, 2019 at 1:16 am #96654JackPMillerParticipantLeBron was in the Rams Locker room. I wonder if it means something? He is going to sign as a red zone target for the NFC title game, and maybe the Super Bowl if we get their? Hmmmm?

I suppose wv cowboy thinks Dallas would have won if it wasn’t for the refs.
Tell him to go bury his face in his Walt Garrison body pillow and cry it out.

On that one TD Joyner was desperately trying to make up for Peters abandoning the guy and trying to jump a short route.

“They’re a defensive line that really likes to move a lot,” right guard Austin Blythe told The Ringer. “We had a pretty good tell when they were going to do that.”

I agree with so many others: love that two-headed monster of Anderson and Gurley. Someone needs to find Timmerman and his buddies and see if they’ll elect CJ a member of their group. What was it? The donut brothers?
;>)
He is such a tough little runner, fearless, bowls defenses over, north or south. And he looks out of shape!! Imagine what he could do if he were in peak condition!!
(A must re-sign for the Rams, obviously. What a great, great pickup!)
Has anyone else noticed that the Saints seem to have lost their offensive magic a wee bit in the last few weeks? They’re still winning. But they’re not crushing their opponents. Whereas the Rams seem over their hiccup.
It’s gonna be a doozy!!
January 14, 2019 at 4:43 pm #96696ZooeyModeratorLooks like the casinos think the matchup is even. Saints -3.5 at home is basically saying the Saints will win because of home field advantage.
Working for the Rams – as billy points out – is the fact that they have been playing better after their slump. I would like to say that the Rams have a coaching advantage since McVay makes great adjustments, but Payton is very good, too, so that’s probably a push.
The Saints have been more consistent all season, have a veteran QB, and the dome. I think the line is right, and I bet it doesn’t move much.

Game Recap: Cowboys vs. Rams | PFF==
Ram_Ruler
PFF podcast dropped some great gems
They reviewed every game this weekend and they gave some great insight on the Rams game. I’ll list them the best I can from memory:
1. Defenses have been daring us to run and this was the first time that Mcvay committed to calling their bluff. It resulted in us dominating the game, leading to…
2. The highest graded cowboy defender was DeMarcus Lawrence with a 65?! Goes to show just how much we dominated despite the late score.
3. Talib gave up 2 catches for 14 yards. He was targeted 5 times.
4. The Rams offensive line has only struggled against the leagues best defensive fronts (eagles and bears in back to back weeks). Other than that, the offensive line issues are overblown, calling out booger specifically.
5. The Rams are their best graded PFF team.
6. If the Rams wanted to stop the run, they’d stack the box and commit to it. But you don’t necessarily need to sell out against the run to win. That’s why the Rams play the run the way they do.January 15, 2019 at 3:20 am #96727AgamemnonParticipantthot this was interesting:

January 15, 2019 at 4:12 pm #96740wvParticipantPS — I do not understand the McVay fourth down call. Made no sense to me. I think it was a bad call. I agree with Peter King.
