    Cobie Durant
1 of three Rams with the trifecta
    (1) INT, (2) sack and (3) FF in same game

    Other two?
    Jack Youngblood
    London Fetcher

Cobie also has another game with a sack and an INT…

Per Sean McVay, Alaric Jackson did practice on Monday and is trending towards playing in the Rams opener

    Wyatt Miller@wymill07
OL Alaric Jackson took part in Monday’s practice.

When asked if that means he’s past the blood clot issue, Sean McVay said it’s “always something you have to manage.” Still, the plan is for him to play in Week 1.

from The Athletic, NFL decision-makers’ predictions for 2025: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6584048/2025/09/01/nfl-predictions-2025-awards-poll-joe-burrow/?source=dailyemail&campaign=601983&userId=222381&source=dailyemail

The Athletic conducted its annual poll of coaches and executives around the NFL to get their thoughts on the upcoming season.

Who are the three best offensive play callers in the NFL?
    30 responses (three votes each)

With the NFL’s recent swing toward young, brilliant offensive minds, it was time to add this question to the rotation. The results were fairly predictable with McVay and Shanahan at the top, but it was interesting to get a feel for the way the league views many of their understudies.

Reminding myself that of the Rams 7 losses last year, 5 Puka either didn’t start or didn’t finish. Can’t wait to see where he takes it in Year 3.

Stafford is probly a ‘borderline’ hall of fame guy right now. Its close. But if he gets to no.5 alltime in passing yards, i would think that would nudge him over the line.

Tutu’s got a role — but he will split a lot of snaps with Whit and Ferguson … Rams will do 12 personnel a little more – no slot “WR” with a TE in there. Even saw Ferguson in the tight bunch with X and Z. Tutu has a lot to prove, at least for me. Worthy player, but a role player.

Everyone on the Rams’ active roster will practice today, including QB Matthew Stafford (back) and LT Alaric Jackson (blood clots), whom Sean McVay said will both start on Sunday for Week 1 against the Texans.

from Brock Vierra [S.I.], mailbag: https://www.si.com/nfl/rams/los-angeles-sean-mcvay-von-miller-jalen-ramsey-matthew-stafford-alaric-jackson

Hey Brock! What is your level of confidence, compared to other seasons, that the team will be able to adjust to injuries at certain positions? Also what do you feel are the greatest strengths and weaknesses of the team so far?

Very confident. Looking back at last season, the Rams’ pursuit of a title was almost derailed week one with injuries to the wide receiver and offensive line rooms. The Rams in response have kept six receivers, four tight ends, and ten offensive linemen on their roster. Unlike last season where the center position was just a revolving door of odd events, the Rams have stability with Coleman Shelton.’

The strengths are the defense’s dominance at the line of scrimmage, the versatile passing offense, and the depth of the roster.

The weaknesses are secondary depth, the lack of a one-hitter type of running back, and a true lockdown corner.

Matthew Stafford has started his team’s first game in all 16 of his NFL seasons. According to Elias, that’s tied with John Elway for the longest streak to begin a quarterback’s career since 1950. Stafford is expected to start on Sunday against the Texans.
