znModeratorbut Turner told Quentin Lake during a recent episode of the team’s “Right on Q” podcast that he’s almost rather play an elusive quarterback than one who gets the ball out fast.
“Sometimes, like, the fast ones or the elusive ones, you can kind of trap them in,” Turner said. “Sometimes facing a quarterback that’s going to get the ball out quick is worse cause the second you pop him in his face or whatever, now he’s dirting it or he’s throwing it to whatever receiver he knows he has a check down. … Sometimes I’d rather play a guy who thinks he’s shiftier than he really is. Then you can get him down.”

znModerator…
That makes ranking the best wide receivers incredibly difficult, but Hall of Famer Terrell Owens took on that task recently when asked to pick his top five by Sports Illustrated. The first two players he named? Nacua and Davante Adams, a pair of Rams stars.
âRight now, I would say Puka, Davante Adams, DeVonta Smith â I like him â Justin Jefferson and A.J. Brown,â Owens said.

znModeratorChris Long & Robert Quinn with back-to-back SACKS to close the game – 2013
It was not often that this era of Rams defense got to play with a late 4th quarter lead – When itâs open season for the pass rush. An underrated group!

ZooeyModeratorAaron Donald at #13 has to be the greatest draft pick in Rams history.
I know they got Deacon Jones in the 13th or 14th round – something absurd – but that was well before there was anything like the scouting that exists today.
From memory – I think most of the Rams’ HOF players were drafted higher than that. I guess there’s an argument for Kurt Warner, but Donald had longevity with the team which counts for something. I dunno. Just spitballin’.

vThere’s more.
Wistrom is a tweener.
Carter takes downs off.
Bulger stopped caring after he signed his 2006 extension.
You don’t take safeties high in the first round so Polamalu is out.
OL injuries don’t matter, it’s just next guy up.
On Donald: you don’t give a DT qb money.
Zygmunt has a superbowl, he’s above criticism.
Shaw hired Martz over Vermeil’s objection.
Why trade for Stafford? He’s never won anything.

The last 5 SB winners (Rams, Chiefs, Eagles, Seahawks) all were paying their QB near top money for the position at the time. Can we please stop with this excuse that itâs hard to win since the QB makes a lot of money.

Sitting here watching QBs at the combine & remember wanting an invite so bad! I remember being told my Grade was higher than others but I was passed up for QBs that played at bigger schools, bc that meant they had bigger upside!Moments like this getting me thinking & wondering HOW I got a chance with such limited OPPs⊠I remain forever grateful to the FEW who thought âwhat the heckâ, heâs been successful everywhere, albeit small school, small league, small field, so letâs see if he can do it in the BIG time!

Due to the lack of teams willing to eat the contract, itâs looking more likely that the Cardinals will release Kyler Murray. Cardinals move on but whatâs Kylerâs next move?Possible: Vikings (depending on Cousins interest) and Jets may have interest.
But allow me to suggest a CAREER RESET? IMHO, how about signing a friendly veteran rate to work with @RamsNFL
âs McVay and with the coach that drafted you (Kliff Kingsbury).
Make a superbowl run with a team that may need a veteran to fill in the EX-MVP during a 2026 campaign while rehabbing your career while learning the latest and greatest system to possibly take over in 2027? Or jump with Kliff when he gets his new gig. Just sayânâŠ.March 1, 2026 at 3:40 pm #162422

Well Darnold was getting around 40 mill this year. I think thats probly what i’d call second-tier money these days.

wvParticipantTalking heads: Kyler to the Rams? Anthony Richardson?
Umm, No.
I dont want a short-QB, and i dont want a QB who cant hit the side of a barn.
I think people think McVay can work magic with QBs because of Baker Mayfield’s reset with the Rams. But Baker is a top-flight QB. Kyler and Richardson are something else.
Btw, i dunno what i think of McVay as a QB-developer. Stafford was Stafford. And Goff…?

InvaderRamModeratorBtw, i dunno what i think of McVay as a QB-developer. Stafford was Stafford. And Goff
i’m glad you said that because that’s the one thing left for him to prove – the ability to draft and develop a qb. if he can do that and win one more superbowl. that’ll put him in belichick and reid territory.
belichick did it with brady. reid did it with mcnabb and then mahomes. even though he didn’t draft goff, mcvay could have done that with him but was too immature as a head coach and gave up too early. he’s older and wiser and you’d think he’d be more patient. we’ll see.
