December 19, 2023 at 2:47 pm #147651znModeratorMatthew Stafford has completed 64% of his passes for 1,250 yards, 13 touchdowns, and only two interceptions since the Los Angeles Rams exited their bye week in Week 10. Besides those numbers, the advanced metrics show just how good Stafford has been for the Rams in recent weeks.
According to rbsdm.com, Stafford has the sixth-best EPA per play (0.197) and the seventh-best success rate (47.7%) among quarterbacks who have at least 150 plays since Week 11. The experienced signal-caller is also registering the ninth-highest completion percentage over expected (0.6) in that span.

Big Time Throw% – 4th
Turnover Worth Play% – 1st
Drop Rate – 2ndDecember 19, 2023 at 3:04 pm #147653znModeratorMatthew Stafford is playing some of the best football of his life right now, putting together yet another awesome performance against the Commanders. While he didn’t have eye-popping numbers against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, he didn’t really make any mistakes and made some great throws — like the dig to Demarcus Robinson on the opening drive for a first down.
December 19, 2023 at 6:11 pm #147657znModeratorJAKE ELLENBOGEN@JKBOGENStat of the day: Kyren Williams has forced more missed tackles than any #Rams running back since 2006. The last back who forced more was his idol growing up: Steven Jackson. Kyren has done this in only 10 games… He is 12 away from tying Jackson.December 19, 2023 at 6:19 pm #147658znModeratorMichael Silver@MikeSilverRaheem Morris will be a great head coach the second time around. As Kyle Shanahan told me earlier this season, Morris “would be my first choice for a head coach if I was an owner.”.
One of the most impressive coaches w/ daily energy to teach and grow together I have a been around.
He’s the Definition of being the “Energy Bus!”Elevates any room he’s in, and the people around him want to be better for him!
Been deserving of that HC opportunity for too… https://t.co/1hXB5bUAyr

not trying to poo poo what stafford has done but his turnaround really began the next week when kyren williams came back. his first week after the bye was not that great.
December 19, 2023 at 8:34 pm #147663znModeratorSosa Kremenjas@QBsMVPKyren Williams has the 4th-most rushing yards (953) among all RBs this season. He’s the only player in the top-21 (!!!!!) with 10 or fewer games played. He’s a legit stud and a great fit for the Rams’ gap scheme. He also wasn’t even the “starting” back in Week 1!December 20, 2023 at 12:44 am #147668znModeratorroberto clemente@rclemente2121

December 20, 2023 at 1:21 am #147671znModeratorKyren Williams came into the season as the Rams’ No. 2 running back, but he might finish the year No. 1 in the NFL in a key rushing statistic. He doesn’t exactly have a chance to overtake Christian McCaffrey as the rushing leader, but through Week 15, no player in the league is averaging more rushing yards per game than Williams.
