October 14, 2022 at 11:28 pm #141165znModeratorBlaine Grisak@bgrisakDTRIn 20 games with 10+ carries, Darrell Henderson has 280 carries for 1,256 yards. That’s an average of 4.49 yards per carry. Excited to see what he can do on Sunday.October 15, 2022 at 6:13 pm #141170znModeratorThe Rams are in the midst of a serious Super Bowl hangover, but they can still salvage their season if they do these things, says @SeanWAlcide. pic.twitter.com/cI9lYct6iE

October 15, 2022 at 6:26 pm #141171znModeratorSosa Kremenjas@QBsMVPI genuinely think the Rams will be in on Christian McCaffrey. Doesn’t mean something crystallizes for sure, but I’m confident they’ll at least call. Great player who fits the offense well. Would play a part in transforming that run game w/ a healthy OL..Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueIn response to questions on the McCaffrey thing – no, it’s not a stretch to imagine Rams might be monitoring the situation, especially (as noted previously) bc he’s pretty much paid out this yr. A few notable ties include friendship with Stafford and to LA area in general. BUTin consideration of injury history and resource allocation, Rams would have to walk a fine line on terms. If player or agent (Segal) at some point communicates any preferences, that changes the situation quite a bit I would imagine, esp. coupled w/franchise undergoing change. That said, the Rams have other pressing matters unfolding and I believe any possible interest in that situation isn’t all they’d be looking at in terms of making changes during/after bye and/or before trade deadline. Those pieces have to all fit together, too.
(meaning – financial pieces, draft capital pieces, roster-build strategy, etc etc etc)
October 15, 2022 at 6:29 pm #141172znModeratorJourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueThe Rams activated OL Chandler Brewer and RB Ronnie Rivers from the practice squad,.
RONNIE RIVERS REWRITES THE RECORD BOOK WITH THIS ONE 👏👏👏 45 career touchdowns‼️

Overview
An undersized back with three-down ability, Rivers is reliable and incredibly consistent. He runs with wiggle and does a nice job of finding efficient rush tracks early in the carry. However, his lack of size and leg drive could limit his success as an inside runner, while the lack of high-end burst could make him an average outside runner. Rivers won’t stand out in any particular area, but the sum of his parts gives him a shot to become a backup.
Strengths
Low center of gravity runner with a balanced base.
Able to readjust rush track versus early penetration in the backfield.
Sinks hips and makes wide jump-cuts around trouble.
Finds acceleration quickly after changing direction.
Capable worker in a crowded box.
Rarely allows feet to stagnate.
Lacks size but not toughness in pass protection.
Makes the first man miss after the catch.Weaknesses
Below-average size and frame.
Inconsistent manipulation of linebackers.
A shade indecisive when he’s missing a clear point of entry.
Below-average leg drive by NFL standards.
Missing a getaway gear and gets walked down by tacklers.
Smallish, short-armed target as a pass-catcher.October 16, 2022 at 6:34 am #141175znModeratorCam Akers pre-Achilles 🔥😢pic.twitter.com/rEB6DF2iQa

October 16, 2022 at 10:26 am #141179znModeratorCameron DaSilva@camdasilvaIf we’re being honest, the Rams shouldn’t trade for McCaffrey unless it’s for, like, 2 late-round picks. A running back won’t solve their problems this season, even as fun as it would be to see CMC with McVay.…The Carolina Panthers are listening to other teams about a potential trade for star running back Christian McCaffrey, although a deal might not be easy to complete, league sources tell ESPN.https://t.co/96y8r4AiCK

ALLEN ROBINSON
Hate to say it but he isnt quick or sudden doesn’t separate well. He is a possession receiver. Needs to be a #3. He was a replacement for Woods, not Beckham. A #2 with a coverage dictating #3 in VJ, an eventual #3 behind Kupp and Beckham, sharing time with VJ.
He is NOTHING compared to Woods. Clearly they made the wrong decision trading Woods and signing A Rob. So far at least.
Whatever the case, the Rams Receiving corps needs to be more diverse and threatening to defenses at all layers – beyond Kupp and Higs. I don’t care who the other pieces end up being. Just figure it out MCV.
