Taylor Rapp allowed the eighth most receptions in coverage by a safety this season and 18th most yards after the catch. With Fuller out, Rapp was put in some bad spots. Can’t bring back a box safety.

Fuller back in 2023 is a boost. Would like a legit CB2. Ramsey is integral to the secondary.

I do not believe this off-season is one where the Rams should blow up this roster. We are still in a championship window if we keep the core on both sides of the ball, regardless of who the HC is. Please. Don’t. Do. It.

UPDATE: Jalen tells me his tweet wasn’t alluding to any impending trade or departure split with the Rams. He’s a first alternate for the Pro Bowl and is still hoping to make it. If not, his season ended with two INTs against Seattle in Week 18.

“I don’t know if I ever made a halftime adjustment in my entire 18-year career. I think that’s the biggest myth in football- the halftime adjustments. You go in, you use the restroom, you eat a couple of oranges, and then the head coach says, ‘Alright, let’s go!'”- Peyton Manning

I find this interesting… so u all never went in at halftime (so to speak) or made an adjustment on the sideline mid-game to do something different? We added plays! Adjusted how we would block something! Pulled out plays we had used in the past! Talked about a different approach!

I can only speak to what we did upfront but I can’t recall adding a run play at halftime. But don’t you make those adjustments all throughout the game? I also think his broader point is what I’ve said for years which is halftime adjustments are overblown in how it’s discussed

I remember we needed to change a code word (or add one) for an outside zone once. The opponent had figured it out. So we just did it in between series. Everyone communicated on the headset and we rolled. Took 30 seconds.

Overblown meaning we didn’t add a “whole” new gameplan at halftime?

Did Chris Long have a major falling out with the Rams? On the show in question, he basically eggs on Donald to sign elsewhere. Pittsburgh, if memory serves, was his main hope.

Always liked his game. Might be a good idea for the Rams brass to do some bridge repair, if my guess is correct.

Rams’ DT Greg Gaines recently completed a labral and bicep tendon repair with Dr. Neal Elattrache. He suffered the injury in training camp and played with it this season. It’s a two-month recovery, so the 26-year old is not expected to have any limitations this off-season.

Transcribing some quotes from earlier this year and apropos of nothing here’s this from a Rams coach: “Jalen (Ramsey) probably gets more ‘hard downs’ than any other secondary player in the NFL. Run or pass – where he’s truly by himself, on your best player.”
