This post was originally called “Rams could still have 7 draft picks” but then Ag says (in the thread) that the 2015 7th round pick they got for Salas went to Atlanta in the Ogletree trade.
So this is corrected.

Without giving you the full article and all its computations, here is the end result of one usually reliable source’s idea of what the Rams will get for compensatory picks:
http://overthecap.com/projecting-the-compensatory-draft-picks-for-2015/
STL 6 Chris Williams $3,287,500
So that’s 1 6th round pick.
Rams traded away a 4th and a 6th for Barron.
If that is true about the 6th rounder (and it looks likely), the Rams roster of picks amounts to this:
1
2
3
5
(6 ?)
7
…
Now that divides just right.
The Rams have a fairly high percentage in rounds 1-3. (By my calculations, 10 of 11 are hits with Pead being the miss)
They haven’t done anything but tease with round 4.(Givens, Jones, Alexander)
They have a decent hit a year in rounds 5-7 (Zuerlein, Stacy, Gaines…and that’s before we know about Bryant or Rhaney).
