This is according to stats inc., which is a main source for info used by sports writers. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/players.asp
Barksdale 0
Joseph 1
Wells 1.5
Robinson 1
Saffold 0.5
Long 4
That’s 8 sacks.
The Rams have 16 sacks. That’s 22nd in the league.
So according to one source anyway, half of the Rams sacks are on the supplemental blockers: TEs, RBs.
This also doesn’t account for the fact that according to Davis himself, he is responsible for some of them. He has accounted for some of those sacks by not looking for the checkdown in the right situations, not looking for the hot read in the right situations, and not seeing and so accounting for overloads and obvious blitzes (by audibling or quickly hitting a hot read outlet).
Even given all that, Long’s numbers are disturbing.
Davis’s sack percentage is 6.4%, which is 23rd in the league. Last year with basically the same line Clemens was 26th with 8%, and Bradford was 9th with 5.4%.
But that gives some indication how sacks are down this year, in 2014, 5.4% would rank 16th and 8% would rank 31st.

BTW another interesting note. From the other side of the story, this season the Rams play 8 of the 12 offenses which have allowed the fewest sacks:
1 Oakland Raiders
2 Cincinnati Bengals
3 New Orleans Saints
4 Philadelphia Eagles
5 Baltimore Ravens
6 Denver Broncos
7 Cleveland Browns
8 Arizona Cardinals
9 Dallas Cowboys
10 San Diego Chargers
11 Seattle Seahawks
12 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Because 2 are division rivals, the Rams actually have 10 games against the top 12.
