Rams jump up the USA TODAY power rankings in a big way

Rams jump up the USA TODAY power rankings in a big way

The Los Angeles Rams saw their offense come to life during the team’s 37-32 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fortunately, the offense’s improvement was a key to the victory, and people are beginning to take notice that this team has some real upside.

While they haven’t cracked the top-half of the NFL in many power rankings just yet, they’re absolutely trending in the right direction. Most recently, USA TODAY released their rankings, and the Rams jumped up eight spots.

    No. 18 Los Angeles Rams
After Week 1 blowout loss, Jeff Fisher should have welcomed some “7-9 b.s.” Two impressive wins later, maybe he won’t have to settle for 7-9.

The No. 18 ranking was the highest received from the panel, and the lowest was a surprising No. 31. The Rams have looked better in each game, and sit just behind the New York Jets, New York Giants and Oakland Raiders in the rankings.

After seeing their performance in the past two games, it’s hard to argue that the Rams wouldn’t actually beat those three teams listed above as well.
