vDecember 17, 2015 at 11:48 pm #35775PA RamParticipantA quick thought or two–I have to go rub the wife’s feet. Anyway–as for the game:
A win is a win is a win. And I was impressed with Case. Nice job. Boras did a good job.
Defense was a bit disappointing. No sacks.
But a win is a win. 31 points? who woulda thunk it? And they needed those points too.
Nice job.
6-8 and onto Seattle.
On a side note my wife made the ticket reservations for “Star Wars” on Saturday. She showed me the seating chart. We are sitting in the second row from the front. I kid you not. The frigging SECOND row! My neck is gonna kill me.
Ugh.

vThey should be forced to wear these lucky uniforms until they lose. They should actually wear yellow make-up and paint the field and football yellow. Let’s see the defense deal with THAT!

December 18, 2015 at 1:30 am #35782znModeratorKeenum may just have had his best game as a pro.
That was obviously one of the major differences.

Postgame Notes
Sunday, December 17, 2015The last time the Rams won on Thursday night football was against Arizona (10/4/12).
QB Case Keenum completed 14-of-17 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns.
Keenum’s longest pass of the day went to Britt for 60 yards, and marked his third longest career pass.RB Todd Gurley had 21 rushes for 48 yards and one touchdown. Gurley has nine touchdowns this season.
Gurley reached 1,023 rushing yards and now ranks third in the NFL in the category behind Doug Martin (1,305) and Adrian Peterson (1,251).
The last Rams RB to have at least 1,000 yards was Steven Jackson (1,045) in ’12. Last Rams rookie RB to reach 1,000 was Jerome Bettis (1,429) in ’93.
WR Tavon Austin now has 10 touchdowns this season (5 receiving, 4 rushing, 1 punt return). Austin is tied for fourth most touchdowns in the NFC with Adrian Peterson (MIN) & David Johnson (AZ).

December 18, 2015 at 4:16 am #35785Eternal RamnationParticipantI finally got a French feed going on the Britt bomb drive. I was thinking what the hell is this? the Bananas were killing the tomatoes. I watched later in entirety on my phone and GRob had a nice block on the first TA TD.They do have to be able to throw it for 5 yds. on 3rd down though. How many games could’ve been won with just that? ZN was right they did squeeze out a couple of wins and two games left. Well they have now equaled last year’s record at the very least. I tried to log in on the chat but sadly lost my feed O’ francez and failed to keep the diehard streak alive.

With his sixth interception, Trumaine Johnson now third in the league.

RB Todd Gurley had his left knee wrapped in ice after the game. Yes, that's the same knee that underwent surgery at Georgia.

December 18, 2015 at 8:49 am #35790DakParticipantI saw most of the second half, then went back and watched the first part of the first quarter. I’ll try to watch the rest of the game when I get a chance.
Seems to me that it’s Tre Mason time. Gurley needs to be preserved for a season that might matter. And, let’s see what Tre can do with a little more work.
Case Keenum had a great game. Looks like Tampa didn’t respect his ability to strike downfield, which I totally get.
Classic Rams. Get out of the playoff race and start winning some games.

Pittsburgh, Packers, Vikings and Ravens…. all very winnable games this season……… it’s a shame. the Rams could have seized those for victory……
Rams need to win out, and Seattle and Vikings need to lose out…
Seattle is favored by 14 vs Cleveland……, just like the Rams were vs the Patriots in SB 36…..
Bummer…. I’d love to see a few more meaningful games…..
December 18, 2015 at 10:59 am #35792nittany ramModeratorAs disappointing as this season has been, should the Rams somehow manage to win their last two games this would be Fisher’s most successful season in St Louis. Of course, the bar was set pretty low…
No way they’re gonna beat the Seahawks in Seattle, obviously. Especially without Quinn.
December 19, 2015 at 8:32 pm #35840lyserParticipantWow. Rams really kicked the shit out of the Bucs. That was cool. The unis were bad
