I don’t know anything about this guy, but he sounds like a hell of an upgrade over Gilbert at this point. He immediately gives the Rams a backup QB who has actually started in the NFL. And, I don’t care what college school he attended. What can HE do? He’s going to have to learn the playbook before he’s even considered a threat to overtake Davis as the No. 2. I think overall it was a nice pickup at the right price. I didn’t like many of the options out there, and I wouldn’t have traded for Mallett.

Wiki “…Houston faced Air Force in a rematch of the previous year’s Armed Forces Bowl. However, this time, Air Force emerged victorious. In cold, windy conditions, Keenum threw 6 interceptions in the game, and was held to only one touchdown. Keenum finished the season, though, with over 5,800 yards of total offense and 48 touchdowns…
2010… Keenum tore his ACL during the Cougars’ third game of the season against UCLA…”

Six INTs in one bowl game. Not bad.
Apparently the lad is not afraid to keep winging it.
