A couple of observations from the game.
1a) One of the first things we noticed was how many empty seats there were. This was a first place team coming home after two road wins -where were the fans?
1b) there were a LOT of bills fans. And they were loud.
1c) Rams fans have a lot to learn. Several times, when the rams had the ball on 3rd down, the crowd would get up and make noise. The announcer had to remind them to make noise when buffalo had the ball, but to be quiet when the rams were on offense. There was even a message on the big screen…….LA fans, SMDH.
2) Something I noticed on the Rams first defensive series, was how far back the safety was playing (usually Alexander, but sometimes McDonald). I don’t know if it was noticeable on tv – or discussed- but they were almost always 20+ yards from the line of scrimmage. When McCoy broke through the line, he had a plant of time to put a juke on our safety who was stuck in no man’s land.
3) The offense seemed to move the ball early – until they got into the red zone. I thought there were some creative plays called, but when it counted most, the rams stalled.
4) Keenum looked OK at times, and bad at others. THe missed pass to quick was gut wrenching- he has his man beat by two steps. Keenum hit austin on another mid range ball (had the pass not been a bit outside, austin probably scores) but they didn’t go deep again. The bills seemed to be getting pressure on Keenum most of the time in the second half.
Keenum and Britt seem to be on the same page. The slants are definitely working- there were times when there was single coverage on the outside (Britt and quick) and I was hoping they would try something deep or even a back shoulder pass….but nothing.
5) The roughing the kicker penalty hurt – if I remember correctly, Austin had a decent return, so even though the bills went three and out after the penalty, field position was changed.
6) The rams went into the dreaded prevent defense at the end of the half. During this drive, BOTH safeties were 20 yards off the ball. The rams gift wrapped that 3 points before halftime I haven’t checked, but I would think Fisher probably doesn’t have his defenses finish in the top 5 very often. He seems to go into this prevent garbage often – and gives up a lot of yardage (and points). It’s almost as if he wants the offense to make mistakes rather than try to create them.
7) The fake punt. I don’t understand the call at all. Too much time, still had all three timeouts and the defense was playing well.
8) The pick six took the air out of the coliseum. It was a terrible pass.
9) It looked like Gurley was getting going……but then it stopped. I was surprised they didn’t try to get him more involved in the pass game.
10) Greg the leg looked good……..
11) The last drive of the game just was bad. It just felt like they weren’t going to do anything, and they sure didn’t. Even though they were still in the game, it sure felt like the game was over.
12) LeRoy Irvin sat three rows in front of us. A few people recognized him and asked for pictures and shook his hand. He was very gracious and talked with everyone who stopped by.
I hate losses. I hate them more when I see them in person.

Meh…about what I expected with the injuries. It was already a tough matchup.
I don’t think that Keenum is responsible for the INT. The defender was supposed to have been picked and wasn’t then Cooper took a bad line, let the defender in front of him, and then fell. It was a designed play and the ball was in the air before the break. crap happens.
The rest of the playing wasn’t bad, just not great.
I expected a fake on the 5 yard line, the one called was moronic.
Tavon Austin was destroying it on the ground at 8.7 YPC. Whatever you do Boras and Fisher, don’t hand him the ball.
The Rams need a spark and that spark needs to be Goff. Keenum will make an excellent backup.

here’s what I saw Sunday. I saw a depleted Rams defense but one that after getting gashed badly the first couple series really settled down and played well overall (4/12 on 3rd downs, 305 yards allowed). The running game was the best it’s been so far this year. Not great but best it’s been. Signs of life. Gurley had 13 carries for 71 yards through three quarters. Of course it would be nice if he had more than 13 attempts through three quarters, but he was averaging 5.5 YPC. Then he got bottled up for 1 yard on 6 carries in the 4th, including a 5 yard loss.
But the defense didn’t generate any turnovers while the offense gave the ball away three times. Formula for a loss.
Buffalo is not a bad team. They’re not a top 10 team either. To me they’re right in the range of the Rams- one of those mid-tier teams that can win or lose almost any game. It was a 23-19 game with minutes to play. And the Rams couldn’t pull it out where they had each of the past three weeks.
They lost to a decent team whose strength was running the ball on a day when 3/4 of their starting DL was out. Not that they’d have shut down McCoy but maybe they give up only 120 vs. 193 with Brockers and Quinn. Sims was also a pass rushing liability and big downgrade at RDE. Zero pressures in 22 pass rushes. Sims really should be limited to running downs if possible with Longacre spelling Quinn more.
On Keenum. I actually thought until the pick 6 he had played pretty well again. He was 14/18 for 180 yards at that point. A QB rating over 100. He was playing similar to what he had the previous 3 weeks. That was a really bad INT of course. And they can’t have more. Two in the past three games is enough…
Kenny Britt is playing well. His catch percentage has been very good- 72% (23 of 32). Right now he’s on pace for 74 catches and 1,139 yards. I think their best receiving options right now (in order) are Britt, Kendricks, Quick and Gurley. If Britt continues playing well they’ll have an interesting decision to make after the season.
On defense the Bills doubled Donald and the rest of the DL couldn’t get it done. I think it was a tall task to be down 3 of your starting 4 DL all at once and giving significant reps to their 9th and 10th DL. They did start off shaky allowing all those yards the first two possessions but then pretty much tightened up from there. Also credit Taylor for escaping several more possible sacks.
By the way Zuerlein is one of four kickers that is 9/9 or better so far this year. Only Vinatieri (IND), Tucker (BAL) and Matt Bryant (ATL) are better. Nice start for Greg.
They’re still well positioned for a possible 4-3 or even 5-2 start at the bye. I would guess that 2 of the 3 DL are back @DET but hoping Johnson’s injury isn’t bad.
Detroit and the Giants are two very winnable games. Detroit’s run defense is bad. They’re not top-tier in really anything. Lions run defense: 31st in yards per carry and 21st in yards per game. The Rams ran the ball better vs. a good Buffalo run defense than they had all year. One of these games they will really break out and maybe it’s @DET this week. The Rams played Detroit last year. They ran for 203 yards and Donald had 3 sacks by himself. Johnson pick-sixed Stafford.
The Giants offense is a mess.
Assuming the Rams get 2 of the 3 DL back this week they could be 4-2 next week which considering 4 of their first 6 games are road games is pretty darn good. And NFC games vs. Detroit and NY Giants are more important to win than Buffalo.
Simply can’t be -3 in TO ratio and hope to win.
Both FootballOutsiders and TeamRankings.com have Buffalo rated 8th in the NFL this week. Not saying I think they’re a top 10 team. And not that the Rams shouldn’t have come up better in places. But they also didn’t lay an egg vs a bad team.

My game day report…..Wow!!! What a day….. Too bad the Rams loss ruined it a bit.
Got there early about 8:30 and fired up the grill and the breakfast beer..it was a picture perfect day as we enjoyed the pregame festivities…the Helpful Honda crew were walking around handing out sunscreen and what not, but then I noticed one of them talking to my friend Rudy and handing him some sort of ticket looking things, so I wisely and quickly went over to investigate and see Rudy with this look like he just won the lotto as he shows me a couple field passes….so I kindly tell the Honda guy how awesome he is and how much I love Honda’s ( I really do, big Honda/NSX guy) and ask/ beg him if he has a couple more??? What do you know..boom!!! Got the last two!!! So four of us lucky @#$%& got to go down to the field and rub elbows with the celebs and other dignitaries… Needless to say that shortened up our tailgate time as we wanted to head in early…so we headed down to the field about 11:45 and made our way over to the Rams sideline…met Steve Wychce on the way over then we met MJD… Made my way over to get some pics with the cheerleaders(of course) then headed over to the sideline to watch the warm ups…man those guys are much bigger up close and in real life..Marc Barron is a beast. I noticed Stan making his way over to the sideline as he walked towards the on field suites and got to shake his hand and tell him how stoked I was to have them back.. That would have been cool enough for me, but there was more…met and took pics with Vince Ferragamo, Mike Singletary, Coach McGiniss, Brandon Fisher, Les Snead, Kevin Demoff, Kara Henderson, Chief of police Charlie Beck, Kimberly Keenum, coach Fassel and some cheerleaders and some others I’m forgetting I’m sure……too bad the day didn’t end then, it was amazing…it was Rams fan heaven!!!
All the pics are in my phone and will post them soon.
Big thanks to the Helpful Honda People!!!!
Of course after that, anything but a win was gonna be a let down…sigh.
Another hot hot day in the stands as it was in the low 90’s at kickoff… The fans were great, not too many Bills fans, I was expecting more form a New York area based team…
Game started out good with the offense once again moving the ball well, but then stalls and we end up with three instead of seven. Then the defense took the field minus 3/4 of our starting d-line and right away you could tell it was gonna be a long day as Shaddy went right through it…although I love the guy and he is by far our best CB, Tru could have changed this entire game on the Bills first drive if he would have been looking for the ball instead of looking to kill the WR…easy pick six was there as the ball was tipped, but instead he blew up the WR instead of the coliseum…would have been 10-0 Rams and the place would have gone nuts….instead a few plays later it was 7-3 Bills ugggh 14 point swing not to mention the momentum.Live by turn overs die by them… The Rams just didn’t have enough to over come the 2-0 turnover margin.
Turning point in the game was the roughing the kicker penalty… Game changed right then and there, although the Rams did end up forcing another punt it was shortly after that where Case threw that horrible pick six…uughhh. So frustrating. Thought it should have been a five yard penalty, but they gave him the 15 and that was it.
Gonna watch the game on dvr to see what I missed, but Gurley has been a disappointment to say the least… From my view it looked like he had some chances to bounce one or a cut back, but he doesn’t even try that…it’s just so straight forward with him right now. Boras did try some different looks but it wasn’t enough to get him going. He just isn’t doing the little things that made him great in those big games last year… Sadly, it’s been a lot longer then just the last five games since he’s had a good game running the ball… Keep hearing “he’s getting close” but just hasn’t happened yet… Hoping the light goes on soon and he and the Rams get back to him getting 120 rushing yards a game.
This team needs to change it up and become a pass first team until it softens up the defense…having better success threw the air right now even with Case Keenum. If Goff is ready it’s time to put him in.
I know Fish is getting killed for the fake punt, but dammit, that play should have worked…there was a huge hole with blockers right in front of him but he panicked and tried going outside with it… Hindsight is always 20/20 but there is no telling our hobbling defense was gonna get that ball back anyway… Although I thought a better time to take a risk was on the series before where we kicked the FG instead of going for the tie.
What can you do? Can’t win them all I guess, but it sure would be nice…. We are still in good shape at 3-2 and can win these games in front of us….hope to god we get healthy this week though…losing the d-line is a huge blow to any team, especially this defense and missing Tru will be even uglier….pray for health!!!

Obvious points:
Wentz is a generational QB in the mold of Rothlisberger.
Keemun has limitations.
Goff would take time to learn the system.
Goff may be talented and better someday than Wentz but we won’t see that for awhile.
Keemun played well against Buffalo within the structure of this offense.
If our O Line were better, Keenum and Gurley would be better….so would Goff.
Our offense, while getting better, lacks downfield threat.
Wentz was schooled and experienced at play action behind center.
We Ram fans are frustrated over this loss and need to vent.
We all want to see Goff on the field soon.
Fisher is a coach that divides our loyalties because we expect to win.
October 12, 2016 at 11:33 pm #55118ZooeyModeratorI flew into LA Friday morning, right over the Inglewood site, at about 8 am. There were about 20 huge earth movers all lined up, and just lurching into motion. Nothing but dirt. It looked all graded from the sky, but they are pushing dirt around still. They are not laying in any underground pipes or anything yet.
I can’t tell you how much Rams junk I saw. There were restaurants where every employee was wearing Rams T-shirts – and I mean Thai restaurants, and pizza places – not sports bars. Buses, metro, billboards, bus shelters. And loads of humans with Rams shirts and jerseys. The Dodgers are in the playoffs, but you wouldn’t know it. I am here to report that the “LA is apathetic about the NFL” theory is pure bunk. Rams old school, old colors, new school, new colors, logos from every era, the place is ablaze. There are even mixtures of the eras. Even in the stadium, you see the “new” logo of the grimacing Rams head in profile with white horns. There were a few Kings billboards, but I saw nothing of the Lakers, Clippers, or Dodgers. And, oh, I guess none of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, either, but no-one ever gave a fuck about them in the first place.
So I leave Hollywood Sunday morning to go pick up my rotten kid, and I can’t believe how many Bills fans I see. All over the metro, and even on his campus (apparently you can park in the university garages for $50 on game day, so it is spillover from the coliseum which is a stone’s throw from the campus). Significant number of them. And I was astonished because I didn’t know there were any Bills fans in Buffalo, let alone in LA. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a lot of Giants fans, or even Jets fans – LA and NY, you know…there’s bound to be a lot of people from each place that move to the other city. But Buffalo? I don’t remember ever meeting a real life Bills fan in my life before Sunday.
So we walk to the stadium and marvel at all the food vendors along the way (thank god there is no wall between America and Mexico, is all I can say). And it’s already getting kind of toasty outside.
The stadium appears empty. But it is pretty clear to me that it is empty because sitting in the direct sun all day is tough. My son and I sit in a small patch of shade until game time, and right around the anthem, the coliseum fills up with 90,000 fans.
I think most of the game observations I would make have already been made by other people, so I won’t repeat them here. One thing we did note that I haven’t seen mentioned by anyone is that Mike Thomas took a pop on a kick return. We were sitting four miles above the field, and we could hear it. Just a brutal shot. So we watch him get up and go to the sideline, and he clearly got clocked…and NOBODY goes over to him. He’s walking around kind of shaking things around to make sure they are still attached, and squatting, and standing back up and clutching his helmet, and spinning to his left, and shaking things…and nobody approaches him. My son and I were just beside ourselves, and threatening to go down to the field, and generally losing our minds. And Thomas tears off his helmet and squats, and wobbles to his feet, and finally somebody goes up to him (not a player) and talks to him for 10 seconds. And leaves. And Thomas wobbles around. And the Rams punt, and out goes Thomas on the field as a gunner. He gets ridden out of bounds easily, and I lost track of him after that. But I was pretty amazed by that. Honestly, it seemed criminally delinquent.
There were some drunken Bills fans immediately behind us, and I thought I was going to lose it during the first half. One of the guys was bragging incessantly about how well liked he is, and how women love him, and cussing this way and that, and yelling out that every penalty flag was for “grabbing the lineman’s penis,” and all this sort of crap. They left at halftime, and I noticed a number on the scoreboard to text in the even of abusive fans, but never used it because they never returned for the second half. The other Bills fans around me were all normal people, and friendly. It was a nice day except for the scoreboard.
Anyway, after the game we went to a restaurant, then back to my son’s dorm to pick up my stuff, and away to the metro. I plan for the metro to take about an hour, and that would get me to the airport about an hour before my flight. The recommendation is 90 minutes, but I know an hour is enough. But about 50 minutes into the metro trip, I realized I was cutting it close. From where I was, I knew I had about another 15 minutes on the metro followed by a wait for a shuttle bus (indeterminate time), and about a 15 minute shuttle to the airport after it arrives. I don’t like that, so I decided to get off and grab a taxi. There was only one taxi. So I grabbed it, and as I’m loading my stuff in, a couple of Bills fans approach, and ask if I’m going to LAX. So we split the ride. As we get close to LAX, their anxiety gets greater, and they ask how far it is, and so on. Just as they are getting anxious, I realize that I was right on my original calculation, and I had plenty of time before my flight. On the metro, I had a brainfart and had been thinking 8:00 when I really didn’t leave until 8:50. Then traffic jams up. And they let it out that their plane leaves in 40 minutes, and our poor Mexican taxi driver is listening to the Backstreet Boys Live pretty loudly, and even when they get him to turn it down, he doesn’t understand what they are saying really.
I am leaving Terminal One, as it happens, and I have an hour and a half before my plane leaves, and I can see my terminal. It’s 150 yards away, so 4 or 5 minutes, probably. They are leaving from Terminal 6, which is…like…a mile away, probably. And they start discussing getting out of the cab and running. And they are not getting any advice from Juan, who merely nods his head and says, “yes, okay” to every question they pose. So I try to tell them they don’t want to do that. He will get them there faster than they can run, and that they should wait. The delay is just a temporary knot of something, and as soon as he drops me off, he will pull away from the curb, and get past the knot and the pace will pick up. And these guys look like football fans from the northeast, btw. A man and a woman with significant love handles. They have no shot on foot. It’s a mile, and they have baggage. But they can’t take the pressure. As soon as we get near Terminal One, they bolt the car before I do. Juan yells at them, but off they go.
There is no WAY they made it on time. No way, whatsoever.
And I go in, check my bag, and head to security where I come to the crossroads monitored by some security woman. She looks at everybody’s boarding passes, and waves them to the left or right. She waves me to the left. It is a long, empty course that leads directly to a checkpoint whereas everyone else was in a queue that had to be 30 minutes long. I pass through security in a minute and a half, emerge on the other side, and learn my flight is delayed. And it gets a second delay. I end up with about an hour and a half of time to kill on the other side of security for all my pains to get there on time. Dunno what happened to the Bills fans, but my guess is their blood pressure was higher than mine by that point.
Anyway. Great weekend for me. I got some good stuff out of the conference, saw a play Saturday night, and got to hang with my kid at a Rams game. Great time. And he’s doing great. He was raving about his experience at university, and it looks like he is really settling in well, and embracing his privileged educational opportunity, so it’s all good.

October 13, 2016 at 1:37 am #55129ZooeyModeratorOh, I meant to add, fwiw, a rough unscientific jersey accounting.
At first, I formed the opinion that Dickerson jerseys were number one, but by the end of the day, I was convinced there was an equal number of Gurley jerseys.
After those two, the landscape was dominated by LA Rams of old.
There were a smattering of Austin and Quinn. Saw one Donald. A few Goff. One Hekker jersey.
Most popular after the running backs was Jack Youngblood. Bunch of Warners. Quite a few Cromwell. Some Jackson (Steven, not Harold). A surprising number of Reynolds – half a dozen. An autographed Ferragamo, and 1 each in blue and white of Jones, Snow, and Gabriel. Saw a few Bruce, and one Holt.
Think it was:
Dickerson/Gurley
Youngblood
Warner
Cromwell
Jackson
Goff
the rest of them.Which one would you wear? Or do you wear?
I think Youngblood is probably my all-time favorite Ram. Jones, Olsen, and Gabriel high up there for me.
October 13, 2016 at 1:51 am #55131znModeratorWhich one would you wear? Or do you wear?
Faulk. I wore it up until my wife claimed it for bedwear. As you know, it is the duty of all married men to surrender any and all kinds of shirts and tops to their wives upon request.

Oh, shoot, Faulk, yeah. Probably between Warner and Cromwell in popularity there. I am sure I am missing more, too. Not like I wrote this stuff down.
Shirts and tops aren’t the only thing I have surrendered.
October 13, 2016 at 1:58 am #55133ZooeyModeratorFrom up high in the shaded area pre-game. You can just see the Hollywood sign.
Downtown from where I sat pre-game. Notice the blue and white.
Todd Gurley scores on this play. Notice the seats are filled in.
October 13, 2016 at 7:00 am #55137nittany ramModeratorWell, that was an excellent report. I kinda hope the Bills fans who you shared a cab with and bolted without paying missed their flight. I wouldn’t mind if we learned they missed their flight and were mugged so with no money they had to spend the night under a bridge.
Not just because they didn’t pay the poor Mexican cabbie (did you get stuck with the entire fare?) but because they are Bills fans and the Bills beat the Rams. Had the Rams won, I would probably be more gracious.
And these guys look like football fans from the northeast, btw. A man and a woman with significant love handles.
I’ll pretend you didn’t imply that all of us northeasterners are lardos.
I think Youngblood is probably my all-time favorite Ram. Jones, Olsen, and Gabriel high up there for me.
Yeah, Youngblood is my all-time favorite. I’d probably wear his jersey. Or maybe a Coy Bacon jersey. He was the first Rams player I ever took a liking to. A Coy Bacon jersey would be unique I bet.

They paid half. The man shoved the money at me in one motion as they bolted.
But that isn’t really the point.
The point is that they were Bills fans, and the Bills won. That’s the point. So they deserved to miss their flight as a matter of principle. I know I’m preaching to the choir here.
No offense to you svelte NEsters. But these were the fans you see on TV wearing hard hats with dual beers on the side, and whose shirts don’t quite stretch down over their bellies. No way did they cover a mile, check in, clear security, and get to their gate in under 40 minutes. This was not O.J. Simpson hurdling through the airport on his way to a Hertz car. Big airports are obstacle courses to begin with, and I don’t think those two kept up their pace after the first 200 yards. And clearing security is usually a 20 – 30 minute process no matter what. They would have been pushing it if they were leaving Terminal One like I was.
October 13, 2016 at 12:30 pm #55147joemadParticipantZooey, do you see yourself in the photo? I might have been sitting right across from your seats in the stadium….
I dig that place and I very much want to go back for another game this season. the Bills game was really the only game that worked for our sch as well………..I’m hoping to find time for the Falcon’s game….., this will be a yearly event for us. we dug it and soaked it all in…..
The game experience exceeded our expectations… I heard horror stories of traffic, heat exhaustion, etc from the Seattle game, but we got there early and left late, we where prepared for the beautiful 88 degree weather …….. like you, we hung out in the shade until kick off……..
we parked in a USC campus garage and met another group at the tail gate lot… when we left the game, none of the attendants or police could tell us where Parking Structure 2 was, so we walked the campus until we came across our car lot….
I watched the reply of the game last night… the main difference I noted from TV vs being live… The Bills QB looked better live than on TV……
McCoy and the turnovers killed us….
the Rams need to convert some of the drives into TDs… It seems that the Rams don’t have a good feel of calling effective plays in the redzone….. not thrilled of delay of game penalties by Case …..I could see the game clock 97 rows up, and Keenum had a brain freeze of time management during a crucial drive….
Nice group of Rams fans around us, but I’m not sure they followed the team as deeply as we did while they were in STL… they didn’t know much about the player history prior to this season…..

Thanks to all who shared your thoughts, I enjoyed them all
October 13, 2016 at 4:51 pm #55153Isiah58ParticipantI took my daughter to the game – it was her first Rams game. She is sixteen and got a kick out of the celebrities that they showed on the big screen. When I bought our seats, I bought them on the press box side and fortunately we have been in the shade the entire game for both 1 pm starts and it has made a big difference. It has been very comfortable, but I think if you are not in the shade the coliseum provides no relief from the sun. It is a giant bowl with no shade whatsoever, so it can be uncomfortable if you are not used to three plus hours of direct sunshine.
As to the crowds, I am not sure what people expect, but there were 80K tix sold for the game. In a venue that holds 100K, yeah, there are going to be open seats, but put that same crowd in a 65K seat venue and it would be overflowing from the rafters. The crowds have been great in my opinion, but what do I know. Some people are going to want to be critical no matter what happens. If they draw 80K, why didn’t they draw 90K?
As to the opposing fans, I used to get pissed about that when the Rams played in Anaheim. Like it was an insult that opposing fans were in our stadium – how dare they? But I guess I’ve mellowed. I’ve seen the Rams in many opposing teams’ stadia and I just wanted to watch my team play. Southern California is a melting pot, and the NFL is huge here as it is anywhere. I have just accepted that every team that comes here will have 15 – 20K fans at the game. For one, it is a once in ten year opportunity for them to see their team. Second, with 70,000 tickets available for each game, their is supply no matter how many die hard Rams fans there are. So yes, every single game there will be plenty of opposing fans at the Coliseum and we will have to hear about it. Its the same thing with the Chargers, the Dodgers, the Angels, etc., and its more a reflection of the populous of the region than the fanbase.
We tailgated in the parking lot for an hour or so before heading into the stadium. The coliseum really is a grand old historic stadium, and I was telling my daughter about the Olympics and as much of the architecture as I could remember. They light the torch before the game, which is kinda cheesy, but Nolan Cromwell was the honorary igniter which was very cool.
Anyways, we got to our seats about 45 minutes early, and I got out my binoculars and immediately looked for Quinn and Brockers. I got a sick feeling in my stomach when I didn’t see those guys, and got out my phone and saw they were inactive. I felt right then it that McCoy was going to have a big day against us. That feeling only got worse when they converted that 2nd and 29 on the first drive and converted it to a TD. Man, that sucked! Still, I thought our offense was fairly competent for most of the day except: (1) in the red zone; and (2) when it really counted. That’s when a QB really matters, though, doesn’t it? One thing that I noticed in person that I don’t know if it was apparent on TV or not, but it looked like Buffalo was NOT playing an 8 man box a fair amount of the time. I saw two safties deep quite a bit of the time, which is not what other teams have been doing to the Rams. Maybe that is why the Rams had a little more success running the ball against Buffalo.
Obviously, the loss came down to a couple of plays that went against the Rams. The 3rd and 1 bomb to Quick that Keenum missed that should have been six. The failure to stop Buffalo on the opening drive. The missed interception on the deflected pass. The pick-6. The botched fake punt (which I was ok with). At the end of the day, my daughter had a great day and we finished the day at 3 – 2, and I told myself I can live with that.

October 13, 2016 at 8:02 pm #55163ZooeyModeratorZooey, do you see yourself in the photo? I might have been sitting right across from your seats in the stadium….
I think you cut me off by 2 or 3 rows. At the ten yard line, to the right of that top gate/tunnel, I was in those red seats. This photo has gotta be late in the game. I can tell by the shade. I don’t think that hit us until the 4th quarter.
It’s so funny you were there, too, and some other people from the board, and we didn’t know it. Maybe next year we can have a little get together of a few of us before the game just for some handshakes and giggles. That would be fun. I have an excuse, now, with my kid right there. He got the tickets from some other student there.
