Disappointing. Rams just didn’t measure up.

They can still have a winning season but they need to take the division to make the playoffs.

Rams had won 4 of their last 5

Today they look like a team that lost 2 of their last 3

You’re right, they don’t measure up.

    Kyren is a fumbler

    Karty inconsistent
    Tackling is inconsistent
    Oline is inconsistent

So is the entire NFC West… inconsistent

The Rams can still win the division…

    Eagles just looked better.

The problem with Rams fans is that we can’t deal with a loss by demanding the team fire the coach and/or replace the quarterback.

So what’s left? Nothing but muted disappointment explained with rational, matter of fact analysis.

The combination of Barkley, that o-line, and that d-line is almost unfair. To quote Commissioner Gordon, “the sum of the angles of that triangle are too monstrous to contemplate”.

I’m disappointed, but somethimes you just gotta tip your hat to the other guys. If the Eagles play their A game, I don’t know how anyone beats them.

BTW, who else is getting tired of the Rams having to use silent counts in their own building in these prime time games?

    Jeezus.

    Rushing yards. 302 total yards.

The Eagles are better. That was clear by the 2nd quarter. The first two drives the Rams put up were impressive, but the Eagles tweaked something, and that was the end of it. Clearly better at the LOS on both sides, and the Eagles fixed their secondary problems in one draft. Cooper Dejean is everything he was hyped up to be going into the draft. That is a complete team. They got a great QB, RB, and WR, and excellent lines. The Philly-Detroit Championship game is one I will watch start-to-finish.

Last night, the absence of Ernest Jones was glaring. I can see the Rams playing better than they did last night. Getting Havenstein back will help, and Higbee. But the Rams are not a threat to the top tier teams, even if the D continues to mature.

    I blame Aaron Donald.

    Sigh. 5-6.

    Saints
    Bills
    49ers
    Jets
    Cards
    Seahawks

To have a winning season, they have to go 4-2, now.

This is officially, a ‘disappointing season’ btw.

Looks like 5-1 to me. Honestly. They are better than all of those teams except the Bills, who will undoubtedly crush the crap out of them.

What was so disappointing in yesterday’s game is how many players who had flashed good stuff before just got flat beat yesterday.

    That includes

    Speights
    Verse
    Jackson
    Avila
    Williams

Plus they basically shut down Kupp.

Yet in the middle of that, Stafford battled on.

Even though he was sacked 5 times he was 21 of 37 for 243 yards with 2 TDs and a 92.4 qb rating.

    Though…they were 0-8 on 3rd down.

The Bills are great but they aren’t the physically dominating freaks the Eagles are. I think the Rams have a chance at SoFi. I was going to say “at home”, but the stadium will look more like Orchard Park’s western annex – but at least the Rams won’t have jet lag.

So, once again, a team played its best game against the Rams.

And, Philly is being touted as a super team. Maybe.

But watch the Eagles come out and play like shit, and Lose next week.

Because the football gods hate the rams.

That’s because the Rams game is every other team’s Super Bowl, and there’s always a letdown after the Super Bowl.

87 years of uninterrupted excellence comes with a price tag – the Rams have a huge target on their back.

Do you really want to watch a rematch in philly? The 1st half was insane. I couldn’t look away the throws 9 was making were incredible but Barkley getting 10 yards a pop was a bad sign before he started getting 60 yards a pop

Missed tackles on D; fumbles on O. Eagles have more talent overall, but I think the Rams could have won this one if they cleaned up a few things.

Good to watch my team, regardless.

You make a good point. There is also the fact that the Bills will be playing on shorter rest, since they don’t play until the Sunday night time slot.
