    Rams at Jets Postgame Notes (11-13-16)

    – The Rams beat the Jets, 9-6. The Rams hold a 10-4 advantage in the all-time series between the two clubs.

    – QB Case Keenum completed 17-of-30 passes for 165 yards.

    – WR Kenny Britt registered his second 100-plus yard game of season. Britt nabbed seven receptions for 109 yards.

    – Britt averaged 15.6 yards per reception against the Jets. Going into today’s contest, Britt averaged 15.8 yards per reception, the seventh-best average in the NFC and 13th-best average in the league.

    – Britt leads the Rams through the first six contests of the 2016 campaign in receiving yards (693) and receptions (44).

    – RB Todd Gurley tallied 21 rushes for 64 yards.

    – LB Alec Ogletree sealed the Rams’ victory when he intercepted Jets QB Bryce Petty at the Jets’ 42-yard line after the two-minute warning. Marked Ogletree’s first interception of the season, fourth career.

    – According to press box statistics, Ogletree led the team in tackles with 10.

    – DE Will Hayes sacked Jets QB Bryce Petty for a four-yard loss. Hayes has 2.0 sacks this season and 31.5 career.

    – The Rams’s defense was credited with five tackles for loss against the Jets. The Rams defense has forced 61 negative plays by opposing offenses in 2016.

    – K Greg Zuerlein converted field goals of 20, 38 and 34 yards. Zuerlein is 14-of-16 on field goal attempts this season. Zuerlein’s career totals are 107-of-135 on field goals and 133-of-136 PATs.

    – Zuerlein has 448 career points which moves him past former WR Torry Holt for eighth in franchise history. Zuerlein trails David Ray (497) for seventh.

    – P Johnny Hekker punted seven times for 362 yards and placed four punts inside the 20-yard line.

    – Hekker notched a long punt of 78 yards, which is the fourth longest punt in Rams’ history. The third longest punt in franchise history is 80 yards, which is shared by P Donnie Jones and Parker Hall. Former Rams QB/P Bob Waterfield holds the two longest punts (88 yards and 86 yards) in franchise history.

    I didn’t believe it until I looked at it several times, but….
    That punt was 82 yards in the air.

    82 yards. (from the 8 yard line to the opposing 10 yard line)
