To me, it sounds like the bookmakers are saying we are going to be 0-16 this year. In other words, we will be playing uglier football than last year

The Rams have never gone win-less in the regular season in their franchise history. They’ve come quite close, but they’ve always avoided that dreaded goose egg in the wins column.
That’s why it’s a bit surprising that the betting lines, released by Vegas sportsbook CG Technology, favor the Rams’ opponents in every single game in 2017 – excluding Week 17 because there are too many variables that could affect the outcome.
Right now, the Rams are listed as underdogs in every NFL week that has a betting line in Vegas (1-16): https://t.co/FRn7d9IdYH

The Rams also have the honorable distinction of the biggest spread that any team will face, when they are 13.5-point dogs on the road in Seattle in Week 15. Their smallest spread (+1.5) is surprisingly also on the road in San Francisco in Week 3 as well as at home against the Eagles in Week 14.
The Browns aren’t favored to win a single game either, and are actually an underdog of at least one touchdown in nine of their first 15 games. At least things aren’t that dire for the Rams.
Conversely, the Patriots are favored in every game. Obviously this doesn’t mean that most people are actually predicting the Rams to go 0-16 or for the Patriots to go undefeated. But it does say a lot about the Vegas expectations for the Rams’ new regime under coach Sean McVay.
