    Steve Avila tried to go back in during third quarter, said McVay, and coaches/medical staff had to pull him. McVay said it’s a testament to how bad Avila wants to be out there – played every snap as a rookie starter in 2023

    Master class by Sean McVay last night. Down a couple OL, Stafford banged up, loud building, Lions D ready to kick ass … and he just kept dialing up smart plays. And Stafford continues to be such a badass

    @speed_kills@speedk1lls
    I couldn’t believe they took the lead in that game after losing 2 more olinemen and the Nucua loss was huge. Stafford is ridiculous!!

    Jared Verse was flying all over the field yesterday. My favorite thing about him is you FEEL his play/impact. He only knows one speed. Might get you into trouble every now and again on misdirections or traps but that’s just part of it.

    Very excited to see him develop.

    the los angeles rams are down 4 starting offensive lineman and 1 reserve offensive lineman, puka nacua, and dee will, and still took the lions to OT in week 1.

    get healthy and this team is a problem.

    Per @NextGenStats, Cooper Kupp had 42 snaps and 12 touches in motion in Week 1, the most by any player in a game over the last 7 seasons. Need production from Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, Jordan Whittington, etc. with Puka on IR. Can’t run Kupp into the ground again.

    My NFL theory of everything is: If you have your coach and QB there are a lot of ways to do the other stuff. If you don’t, there aren’t.

    the 1st & 10 perfectly executed 20-yard laser to kupp, down 13-17, 5:35 left in regulation, the rams had 8 guys in pass pro and 2 guys running patterns against 5 in coverage
    .
    keep everyone home to pass block to help the tackles out, except for 2 wr that 5 lions in coverage couldn’t defend…

    According to NFL’s Next Gen Stats, [Tyler]  Johnson’s 63-yard catch ended up being their “most incredible YAC” play of Week 1, eclipsing an 80-yard touchdown by Tyreek Hill that “only” had 36 yards after catch above expectation.

    If I told you the RAMS went toe to toe with DET while having 4/5 starters out on the O- line & a whopping 35 pass block grade what would you say……

    Ramsoholic@ShayTweetedThat
    Stafford is elite and a top 5 QB period

    Watch games if you don’t believe
