I did not watch much of Mr. Rogers growing up. Or Sesame Street for that matter.
Or Captain Kangeroo.
I tended to watch the shows that had cartoons.
We had some local people like “Captain Noah” and “Sally Starr” and “Gene London” and others.
It made me who I am today–cartoons.
I didn’t want to think too hard about anything.
I still don’t.
