FYI on #Rams & Tre Mason & T.J. McDonald’s camp status: Still uncertainty. Conversations between club/players ongoing, but situations murky
July 25, 2016 at 8:18 pm #49369znModeratorFurther problems could arise depending on the status of starting strong safety T.J. McDonald, who was arrested in May on suspicion of driving under the influence of a substance other than alcohol.
As of this week, McDonald had not been charged with a crime, so he is likely to participate in camp, but should the situation change, add another potential training-camp battle to the mix.

Police visit Tre Mason’s home five times in four months
In early March, Rams running back Tre Mason had a bizarre incident with police, resulting in his arrest on various charges. He then failed to appear in court, before eventually doing so.
Since then, police reportedly have been called to his house on five different occasions. According to TMZ, the most recent incident happened on Saturday.
Per the report, Mason’s family is concerned about his mental health. During one of the police visits, he agreed to check into a facility. He apparently didn’t.
Mason has not yet been accused of assaulting family members. On one occasion, a family member told police that Mason hadn’t slept in days, and that the family member was concerned if Mason left the house “he will get hurt.”
Mason didn’t participate in OTAs this year, excused from the voluntary sessions for “personal reasons.” The next question for the Rams is whether Mason, a third-round pick in 2014, will be welcomed to training camp — and whether he’ll even show up for it.

COPS CALLED, BIZARRE BEHAVIORhttp://www.tmz.com/category/tmzsports?adid=TMZ_Web_Nav_TMZSports
More troubling news about L.A. Rams RB Tre Mason — who’s been at the center of 5 different incidents involving cops in the past 4 months, TMZ Sports has learned … and his family is extremely concerned.
The latest incident occurred on Saturday — multiple units responded to Mason’s family home in Florida in the middle of the afternoon. We know Mason was NOT arrested — but there seems to be a bigger problem.
Mason’s family is concerned about his mental health — citing a string of bizarre behavior and angry outbursts … and they’re worried for his personal safety.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Dept. has been called to the home 5 times since March 28th — and at least once, Mason agreed to check into a facility to resolve the situation.
From the info we’ve gathered, Mason has NEVER been accused of hurting anyone. However, on one occasion, a family member told cops she didn’t want Tre to leave the house because he hadn’t slept in days and she was worried “he will get hurt.”
Before the issues at his home, Mason was arrested in Hollywood, FL on March 5th after he was pulled over for speeding — and was tased when he refused to get out of the car.
It’s clear, Tre’s family is concerned and wants to help him.
We reached out to Mason’s agent for comment — so far, no word back.July 27, 2016 at 5:16 pm #49465znModeratorRams S T.J. McDonald, who did not partake in offseason workouts because of personal issues, is back with the team.

July 27, 2016 at 9:21 pm #49501canadaramParticipantI see that the Jets released Zac Stacy today. If the Rams want to replace Mason I wonder if they would go back that direction. I’m a Cunningham fan and I am encouraged by Malcolm Brown. Aside from the scouting reports that I have read I don’t know what the Rams have in Aaron Green. Anyway, sounds like there might be a spot up for grabs in the backfield.

I just don’t think they were that crazy about Zac Stacy.
But the Mason thing sucks.

FYI on #Rams Tre Mason: what makes situation more complicated is inability of team to communicate with him 1/2

2/2 so while there is little #Rams expectation at this point Mason will show up, it wouldn't be a complete shock if he did.

Good old Zac Stacy. What a strange career. The guy really impressed
me that one year. He just bowled defenders over, and powered his way
downfield. Seemed to have good vision. Had some S.Jackson in him.
I thought he was gonna be a good-not-great-RB.And then rather quickly it all seemed evaporate.
