    America didn’t trust British naval/military build-up after WWI. Here is a map depicting invasion routes of Canada, which was still part of the British Empire back then. There’s lottsa’ other interesting maps of things that never happened too.

    That’s kinda cool. Had it come to fruition I know that I’d be feasting on Whatchamacallit chocolate bars and staying home to watch football on the the last Thursday of every November. Two things that make me jealous of every citizen of the U.S.

    Don’t be so sure. US invasions of Canada never worked out so well for the US. See the American Revolution and the War of 1812.

    Maybe I’d have single payer healthcare and a Tim Horton’s down the street, two things I’m jealous of Canadians for.
