Hope I have a reason to be optimistic. It may be really cold. This could get ugly very quickly.
During the Majkowski era I saw the Rams play in Lambeau. The wind chill was -8 degrees F. When the Rams came out on the field before kick-off you could tell they were just going to mail it in. Kevin Greene looked like the only Rams player who wanted to play a football game. He was mugging for the crowd and revelling in the boos. The rest of the team looked really uncomfortable and ill-prepared for the cold, whereas the Packers were jumping around and psyched. The Rams lost by 30 points or so. That was a long three and a half hours. The misery was lessened by all the kind hearted Packers fans around me who took pity on me. They even cheered on those rare occasions when the Rams did something right.
Hopefully they’ll shrug off the cold and put up a fight in Foxboro, or it will be an even longer three and a half hours among Pats fans.
