    I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…”the NFL product are the players” who risk it all while the owners profit off their demise. The reality is players already suffer from lack of recovery time with international game turn around and Thursday night football short week. It’s surprising the NFLPA is quietly sitting back and allowing this travesty to happen, it’s wrong! The NFL is running around doing all these studies on the grass, shoes and equipment to prevent the number of ACL’s, Achilles and other injuries which may be inevitable because of the violence created between the lines. But the lack of rest to allow the body to recover properly won’t happen by adding another game! The salary cap is rising every year to new highs because of the billions rolling in….nothing last forever. The idea of a Super Bowl in another country has been on the table for a long time, but is pissing off their loyal fan base worth it.

    The NFL will have a Wednesday game to open 2026 with 49ers-Rams in Australia being played either on Wednesday or Thursday as part of opening weekend, per @Ourand_Puck.
