    Brian Allen (knee) won’t practice today. David Long (groin), Cobie Durant (hamstring), Taylor Rapp (ribs) also limited today. Rams are as banged up as I’ve ever seen them in my time here.

    Sean McVay says Cam Akers won’t be here today (was out yesterday listed as “personal”), and out Sunday. McVay says team is working through the situation, and he also declined to say whether he believes Akers will be a part of the team in the future. “Working through some things.”

    Sounds to me like Sean McVay didn’t want to say anything regarding Cam Akers, just that he was absent and won’t play. That could suggest it’s fairly serious and possibly quite personal to Akers

    Wouldn’t be shocked if Rams do trade for a RB. However, I do think they like Kyren Williams. Following the bye, it’ll be six weeks since his injury. Had some good moments in training camp.

    The Rams activated OL Chandler Brewer and RB Ronnie Rivers from the practice squad, per team. RBs Sunday are Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown and Rivers.

    Final Rams/Panthers injury report. Sean McVay said he expects Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee and Aaron Donald all to play. David Long Jr, Taylor Rapp appear ready to return as well.

    Rams guard David Edwards will see the same concussion specialists in Pittsburgh that WR Brandin Cooks did in 2019. Edwards is on IR after suffering his second concussion in as many weeks.
