Any kind of or any number of guesses will do. Do the whole list, just do one. Take a guess. Will they make it? How far can they go? Will it show up this year? Or down the road? Or do you even agree where guys are slotted on the list?

    Here’re some guesses:

The OL is much improved and that allows Gurley to rebound; maybe not to his rookie level, but servicable.

I have a bad feeling about Goff. I think he will do OK for the first part of the season, but the wear and tear is going to get to him. I predict he misses about three or four games, I just hope he doesn’t get injured enough to affect the rest of his career. He’s just too friggen skinny. Mannion has the look of someone who can be the QB of a power running team. No idea if he can be the man.

I think this is a learning year on both sides of the ball, and maybe again next year.

I don’t think Witworth will ever play on a playoff bound Rams team, but hopefully he can be the type of player – coach to get this young OL headed in the right direction for 2019.

    i’ll concentrate on oline starters.

i think whitworth is a huge plus. one of the best left tackles in the game and a lot left in the tank (more than a lot think he does). he makes everyone else on the oline better. sullivan should be healthier and should be a plus although i preferred groy.

saffold and havenstein at guards. who knows? i guess we’ll find out. i do think whitworth makes saffold a better guard if he can stay healthy. i don’t see why havenstein can’t be a good guard. although i do know more will be expected of him under the kromer system.

grob/brown. i take it as a good sign that brown is beating out grob. looking on the bright side, at least they got a competition going on there. but still a big question mark.

looking at safeties i think joyner and alexander are going to be way better than what they had last year. and last year wasn’t necessarily bad. but this duo is going to be lights out i think. and look out. my guess is they’ll have capable backups in johnson and randolph.

ok. one more. lately i’ve been loving what i’ve been reading about mike thomas lately. could he be the deep threat for this offense?

i don’t know. but i also like woods and cooper. there’s gonna be some good competition at that position.

i’m not so confident on higbee and everett though. and i don’t know how that affects the offense with mcvay being so tight end centric. i think he’ll have to adjust the offense.

I think they will lose the first two.
Play .500 ball over the next 6 games.
Than play winning football the last half of the season.

This won’t be enough for a playoff spot, but they will be considered an ascending team by the end of the year.

Next season they will be a winning football team.
