How certain are you that Goff will continue developing.

I think it is 100% that Goff will continue to develope, but a lot of his performance is tied to McVay. imo

I think he’s certain to improve and the game should slow down for him — the question is to what degree. Its all just ‘projection’ at this point.

We just dont know how good he’s going to get. Aaron Rogers-one-man-gang-elite-level? Brees-Rivers-Rothlisburger? Matt Ryan?
Will he be a ‘hard-to-categorize-unique-QB’ like Russel Wilson?
kirk Cousins? Alex Smith? Andy Dalton?

The only thing that could derail a year-three improvement would be key OLine injuries and no depth.

I still ‘think’ he can be a top-five QB, based on some of the awesome passes he threw plus his nifty footwork and McV’s system. But who knows — i thot RG3 would be the next Norm Van Brocklin.

A lot of it will be McV setting up the offense the way Pederson did with Foles in the playoffs.

But, as you say, JG has a lot of talent of his own to call on, to make plays where a more ordinary guy might not.

The question is how much he sees, to do that.

Goff may be a slow developer.

I think he’ll improve, but I also won’t be surprised if the offense as a whole takes a step back next season and as a result people start asking “what’s wrong with Goff?” However, in the long term I think he turns into a top tier QB.

I’d say over 100 percent chance
