I had some doubts about Hunter based on what I saw in the pre-season.

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers will roll out their 10th offensive line in 13 weeks, and have a new look on defense Sunday against the Rams.

Most of the inactive list was anticlimactic, as cornerback Jaycee Horn (concussion), linebackers Christian Rozeboom (hip/hamstring) and Claudin Cherelus (concussion), and center Cade Mays (ankle) were ruled out on Friday.

They were joined on the list Sunday by wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, and defensive tackles Jared Harrison-Hunte and Cam Jackson.

With that, they’re starting Austin Corbett at center and Jake Curhan at right guard, giving them yet another new look on the offense line.

I guess this is what Sean McVay meant about how challenging the game day 48-man roster is. They made Ahkello Witherspoon inactive in order to get Tutu Atwell up

S Jaylen McCollough is also active. He came down with an illness this weekend and was listed as questionable. Some key depth as the Rams continue to manage Quentin Lake’s absence.
