    …and i was in charge…
    …at this particular juncture…I would…
try very hard to trade down into the mid or
    late first round.

And then i would take the best OLineman available
    with the first pick.
And I’d take the best OLineman available
with the next pick. (an extra second maybe
    for trading down?)

And then with the next pick, I’d
probably go CB or RB or WR
    depending on the board.

Its very tempting to want to add a Cooper
or White cause who knows whether Quick
will be ok, and Britt is limited it seems
to me — but i REALLY think its time to add
two young, solid, healthy studs to the Oline.

Yep. I would draft at least 2 olineman. As early as possible. I don’t even care if we take one at #10.

Wr Dorsett might be there in the 3rd. That would give Foles a DeSean Jackson type target. He obviously missed that in 2014.

    All defensive linemen.

    Cannon to right of them
    Cannon to left of them
    Cannon in front of them

You have to be odd, to be number one.

I’m hoping like hell that Scherff is there at #10.

    If so–I take him.

If not, I’d consider trading down but I would think carefully about taking Amari Cooper if he’s there.

I take BPA at #10 regardless of position. Even if he’s DL.

I have 4 guys that I would pick at 10:
    *Amari Cooper WR Alabama
    La’el Collins G/T LSU
    Brandon Scherff OT Iowa
    Kevin White WR West Virginia
If they are gone I would trade down as far as 20 and pick:
    Cameron Erving C/T Florida State
    *Shaq Thompson OLB Washington
    Eric Kendricks ILB UCLA

Could maybe trade the #10 to Philly for Sam Bradford.

I like White but I like Cooper better. Aren’t OL are a dime a dozen – they already have 7 of them. How many do they need anyway? I’d pick Cooper at 10 if available and draft 5 more OL with my other six picks after that. Then, let the top 13 OL fight it out. Wonder what Jake Long has going on with his rehab. Would or should they consider bringing him back for another season or two if his rehab is up to snuff?

OL seems like the obvious thing early and often in the draft but it seems that they could fall in love with someone who falls to them at 10 and go for it – like Aaron Donald. They don’t seem to be smitten by any of the current FA OL available. We’ll see I guess.

i’d trade down if i was going to pick a lineman. otherwise i’d want cooper or white or maybe waynes. if they were gone and i couldn’t trade down then yeah i’d have to take a hard look at the offensive line.

That is good, out of the box, thinking.

    But then, who’s the starter?

I have PCB rated higher on my board.

i would also look into trading down and drafting todd gurley. i think he’d be a nice combo with tre mason. i like melvin gordon too. need a dominating running game.

i think i’d prefer gurley. he’s got extraordinary size at 230 pounds. it’d be a nice complement to mason’s quickness. i like melvin gordon too, but i’ve read that he isn’t the best between the tackles. and i tend to favor the sec running backs as a general rule.

i was reading about his acl injury. it was a clean tear. no other structural damage besides the ligament. and he’s already supposed to be ahead of schedule. by the time the season starts he should be 9 months into his rehab. and even then he doesn’t have to be pressed into full time duty. he can share duties with tre.

he’d be great value at the bottom half of the first round.

and besides i think fisher’s offenses did the best when they had that running game. eddie george. chris johnson and lendale white. as positive as i’ve tried to be i’ve not been too impressed with the running game so far. i’m not sure mason can carry it by himself. and i don’t think cunningham is good enough.
