How many rookies will they start?

So, how many rookies will start
for this team?

Will fisher start two rookie OLinemen?

I doubt it.

GRob // Jones // Rhaney // Saffold // Havenstein

I could see an OL like that.

They really liked Rhaney a LOT at Center and Jones was good at both C and OG, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them kick Jones out to LOG and slot Rhaney into the starter’s role at C.

All that presumes Barks doesn’t come back and that we don’t sign Blalock.

But I’d be good with that OL, frankly with Brown as depth, learning. Especially since Saffold tends to get dinged and Brown is a predominantly Right side guy and Saffold played his best on the right side.

But, it’s so early, who knows?

I think Havenstein starts day one. After that they don’t have to start any rookies unless someone gets hurt or they just play good enough to beat out a starter. I think Barksdale plays guard like Saffold does, if we resign him.

i hope they re-sign barksdale.

robinson saffold jones barksdale havenstein

you’d only be plugging in one new player. barksdale has a new position but he’s playing on the same side.

brown hopefully develops and eventually takes over for barksdale.

IMO? Only in the event of multiple extensive injuries of the kind you rarely see with pro teams.

In other words…maybe.
