Perhaps Matthew Stafford will survive Taylor Decker’s absence after all. Detroit’s offensive tackles (and protection overall) held up really well, allowing a combined three pressures and no sacks. Rick Wagner wasted no time showing the good people of Detroit why he was worth more money than any right tackle in the game. On 43 pass blocking snaps, he allowed exactly one pressure and no QB hits. That effort ranked him as the league’s second-best offensive tackle in Week 1 according to ProFootballFocus. On the left side, Greg Robinson was nearly as good, allowing no sacks and just two hurries. Considering he spent much of his day swapping paint with Chandler Jones, one of the best pass rushers in the business, this was an excellent debut for a player that arrived in Detroit with a whole lot of question marks.

I watched it. GR still plays high . He played better overall but not that much better. Our LT played way better.
