I caught some of this yesterday. Sounds like a great cause, and the music was often really good.

Highlights for me were the performances of H.E.R. (I had never heard of her before), Alicia Keyes and Queen, with Adam Lambert.
I saw Queen twice in the 1970s. One of my all-time favorite bands. Was amazed that Brian May, at 72, can still play a very mean guitar, and the drummer, Roger Taylor, 70, can still sing.
Caught part of Carole King’s performance, and it was difficult to watch for me. Some of the greats from when we were young aren’t able to hit those notes any longer. It’s perfectly understandable and natural, but kinda sad to witness. In those cases, I’d rather listen to their classic records and remember them as they were, etc.
Overall, the combination of climate, anti-poverty, feminist activism and great music was close to perfect. Worth a watch.
