The interior of the line gets blown up on too many plays. It’s not one guy, it’s Reynolds one play, then two plays later it’s #68, then Barnes, then a hold by G-Rob, and so on. They are running zone blocking scheme and they are allowing penetration. I looked at game again and it’s awful. Gurley has no chance. So, we get in a hole and have to throw, and the line does not give up sacks but hey give up tons of pressures. Then when there is time, last several weeks or QBs miss throws that have to be made.

Also, Cook is not good. But, I have looked at all the running plays there is is always someone beating their blocker and mucking up the run plays. Last few weeks Barnes has been bad. Wichman is not ready to be a player, Rams miss Brown. I could show all the run plays and you could see why there is no room to run. You cannot have penetration in the backfield on the majority of running plays. Scoring 10 points over last 2 games has been 100% due to poor oline play and poor qbing.
Reynolds gets kudos from coaches but he’s as guilty as anyone.

It’s so bad that it’s even hard to see what receivers may be doing wrong. Cook dropped one that won’t be counted as a “drop” but it was catchable, but it was also barely catchable since it was so high.

Rams have NO short passing game. It’s run, run, take a shot. Cannot remember the last screen pass. Remember Benny’s screens vs Seattle? Helped us win the game. Foles missed Quick on a slant, that was as bad as it gets . .. behind him . . .so, if you cannot hit the short ones . . .you’re in trouble.

#68 is Brown. He must mean Wichmann #69.

Poor Todd Gurley. I wonder if he ever considered that he would run behind the most injury-prone O-line in football?
