I feel like the Rams will do well this week. I felt the opposite last week, saw that one coming – just knew they were gonna play like shit and were too high from the win over Seattle. Hoping for some consistency from this team – hoping the loss in Washington will serve as a season long reminder that they have to bring it every week…please feel free to discuss this highly analytical post

Both teams 1-1.

vMaybe your Morgantown boys will do something this week on O or teams – see to that will ya?
September 24, 2015 at 12:43 pm #31108canadaramParticipantI think Brown will end up with a gazillion-and-a-half receiving yards.
September 24, 2015 at 1:02 pm #31109ZooeyModeratorThis is the game to which Steelers fans are going to point to as the one where they saw their season go down the drain.
September 24, 2015 at 10:19 pm #31126joemadParticipantI can’t believe Pitt is only favored by 1 this Sunday.
Steelers are 1-1 but played a decent 2nd half in vs the Pats and maybe could’ve played a decent 1st half in Foxborough if their headsets worked….
September 24, 2015 at 11:06 pm #31128InvaderRamModeratorbest case scenario. rams shore up the run defense and go to town on roethlisberger. force a couple turnovers.
mason and a healthy gurley show us what a healthy running game is capable of. takes pressure off of foles who is able to make some explosive plays to the wide receivers. offensive line gains confidence.
September 25, 2015 at 7:32 am #31133PA RamParticipantWell, I’m 2-0 this season having correctly called that Washington debacle. I believe I may have been a yard or two short on total rushing yards Washington would have and I apologize for that. Everything else, of course was right on.
So….the Steelers, this week.
I was going to predict armageddon as a giant asteroid plunges into earth but I recalculated and that will be another 300 years from Sunday. Whew. Close one, huh?
So yes–the game will be played, and perhaps we should have taken the asteroid because unfortunately the Steelers have the NFL’s best offense(didn’t look at stats I’m going by the eyeball test) and they will be impossible to stop. They may have to punt twice this game if they stop themselves with penalties.
Too many weapons, too many things to stop.
The Rams have….hopefully Todd Gurley. That’s it.
The Rams defense can pressure the passer but Roth moves fantastic in the pocket for a big guy and his passes are a thing of beauty. The receivers? Yeah…nuff said.
Bell is back. Uh-huh.
No, the Rams will not win this game. Yes–I fear it will be a good old fashioned blowout.
Steelers: 42 Rams: 13
(I was in a text war with my son—a Steelers fan–and proclaimed the Rams would win this 35-10 but of course that was just bold talk–unless the Rams DO win 35-10 in which case it was an incredible prediction).
Of course, I hope I’m wrong for the first time this year. But my record speaks for itself.
GO RAMS!!!!!!!!!

September 25, 2015 at 3:23 pm #31142DakParticipantOf all the home games this year, this might be the most difficult for the Rams.
Pittsburgh 30
Rams 20September 25, 2015 at 4:52 pm #31150MackeyserModeratorWe can win this. I mean, if we can lay the smack down on Denver last year, then we can beat this Pittsburgh team this year with improved personnel.

September 25, 2015 at 6:07 pm #31153InvaderRamModeratorwell they’ll be playing at home, and that should make a huge difference.
September 25, 2015 at 6:48 pm #31154wvParticipantIs Ben-R one of the top Three QBs in the NFL?
Cosell said he’s no longer a ‘move QB’; he’s a
topnotch pocket QB now. He said his mental progression
has now caught up with his physical ability. So, Greg Williams D has to contend with
one of the best QBs,
one of the best RBs
and one of the best WRs.Good test.
Should be interesting.
I got no idea what’s gonna happen.
I may get to see this one on tv cause
Steeler games are often on wv-mom’s tv.What kind of food goes with a Steeler game?
What kind of food is Pittsburgh known for?I ate Seattle-related food and the Rams beat them.
I forgot to eat Washington-related food and they got stomped.
Do the math.w
vSeptember 25, 2015 at 7:14 pm #31156AgamemnonParticipantTraditional Pittsburgh foods reflect the city’s multicultural heritage, especially that of the European immigrants of the early 20th century. While these immigrant populations introduced dishes such as pierogis to the city, they are now enjoyed by Pittsburghers in general. Other Pittsburgh food specialties were developed in the city. In general, these dishes are still popular because for many years, they satisfied the hearty appetite of the archetypal Pittsburgher: the hard-working, blue-collar steelworker.
The Slavic-American communities introduced the pierogi to PittsburghCabbage rolls –(aka Halupki)– Beef, pork, rice, green pepper, wrapped in cabbage and baked with sauerkraut and tomato soup or juice
Chipped Ham – (aka Chipped Chopped Ham) thinly-sliced processed ham, from Isaly’s since 1933
City Chicken – cubes of pork and/or veal baked or fried on a wooden skewer
Clark Bar – chocolate candy bar; developed in the city in 1886
Dozen Bake Shop – official cupcakes of the Pittsburgh Penguins, named best Pittsburgh bakery by the New York Post.
Essie’s Original Hot Dog shop – an Oakland staple since 1960.
Halušky – noodles with fried cabbage (Polish), or cottage cheese (Slovak).
Iron City Beer – native brew; with a shot of whiskey, a boilermaker; with a shot of Imperial, an imp-n-arn.
Italian sausage – with grilled peppers and onions.
Kielbasa – eastern European sausages.
Klondike bar – an ice cream treat made famous by Isaly’s.
Pierogi – Polish dish, pasta dough filled with potato and cheese, onion or sauerkraut.
Primanti Brothers – sandwich with fries and coleslaw in it.
Sarris Candies – chocolates and ice cream originating in Canonsburg
Teutonia Männerchor – Deutschtown (East Allegheny) German food.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_Pittsburgh
Go with Polish.

To this day because of my ukrainian heritage I cook holubsti, though the recipe (and spelling) are slightly different.

But I ain’t ruling it out.
