The more I study this QB draft class, the more I think it has a chance to be a Burrow/Herbert/Tua/Hurts/Love type group. The skill sets aren’t exactly the same, but the impact could end up being similar.
This is the most accurate take on evaluating quarterbacks nowadays (including the Stroud play his rookie season) that you will read.
A HUGE chunk of Caleb's throws come off-schedule, a huge chunk of many passing concepts are not translatable. Projections are MUCH tougher now. https://t.co/Z29sei8AoU
That’s who I’m watching now also… and Williams, so talented, concepts get no one open, OL bad so running for his life, then when things are open he plays too fast or doesn’t see things, so how do you evaluate? Do you just say “gifted thrower” & hope it all translates when things…

I think you can make a case for like 5-6 guys to be RB1 in this draft class. None of them should go in the 1st round – maybe not even the 2nd – but i absolutely think we’ll end up with a few good NFL players from this crop. It’s like an analytics dream draft class at RB.
He and the QB there can bond over their knowledge of astronomy.
Texas Tech's Tyler Owens, who's a favorite to post the fastest 40 at this year's NFL combine, doesn't "believe in space," as in "other planets," and feels flat-earth theories have some "valid points." pic.twitter.com/jE2jv9vyLv
Really interesting list.. The first WR off the board isn’t a lock to emerge as a star or a legit WR1.. Makes the debate regarding the top WR in 2024 more interesting when looking at Harrison, Odunze and Nabers.. #NFLDraft2024https://t.co/9oz0PIUUSu
I enjoy listening to Chris Simms talk football. In his latest podcast he ranks the best CB’s in the draft. His top 5 isn’t merely an echo or a reshuffling of the typical names that I’ve been seeing from other pundits. He’s got Mitchell and Wiggins ranked high, but after that his list differs from most others. I like hearing his detailed analysis of the names I was expecting to hear, but hearing more about the players I’m less familiar with is what I really liked.
As I finish the later round OL prospects this class the center group has become the clear-cut best I’ve seen over the last four drafts of watching all the OL.
Over their rookie contracts, I don’t think it’s crazy to say we can see as many as 10 guys start games at the pivot.
