Check the how fast is fast post, above. Some of the fastest players are barely over 22 mph. So he is quick. Top end isn’t too bad. But his 40 time sux. 😉

btw, Gurley said he did a 23 in one of the ?minicamp interviews.

This guy might consider doing voiceover and not putting himself in the picture.

I like him. He’s good. Thanks for posting it.

But it’s hard to watch his facial ticks and twitches. If that sounds harsh…but still!

So he might consider just doing a voiceover.

I actually don’t usually like his stuff. But, I thought he did fine on Kupp. He had a nice detailed breakdown under the video.

got this quote from jamesjm over at the herd. i think it describes best how i feel about this guy. my closest comp for him i think is anquan boldin. bigger receiver. slow. but smart and competitive. excellent hands.

for the life of me I can’t shake the notion that this guy has what it takes.

I read the criticism’s of him… and admittedly some make sense to me, but I still can’t shake this notion that there’s something there, a bit hidden but often times glaringly apparent.

I mention Cooper because he’s a good example of what I ‘feel’… ‘sense’… ‘intuit’… ‘believe’… about several of the players on this current roster, (all positions), that, to me, have underachieved, (to varying degrees), for no apparent reason… not to me anyway.

THUS – the McVay era is fascinating for me. I don’t think the entire roster ‘has what it takes’ by any means… but there are enough, IMHO, to believe it far from silly to think the Ram’s ‘could’ make huge strides this year.

As I said earlier, I dunno what I’m hoping for this year…. but I do think, unlike in the past several years, there are currently more… .and I HATE to use this word but… ‘potentially’ good players than the Ram’s have had in some time.

We all know this.. there is 8-8 and then there is 8-8… can mean failure, can mean so-so, can mean improvement, can possibly mean HUGE improvement – (competitive in every game).

I try to come up with a number… meaning ‘how many’ need to stop underachieving and start over-achieving to make a noticeable difference in being competitive and unfortunately I can’t help thinking the number is rather high, and therefore not all that likely. Meaning a LOT of work, good drafting, remains.

At the same time… should all, or lets stay grounded and say ‘most’, (if that can be called grounded), DO step it up…. it’s not far-fetched for me to envision a winning season. – JamesJM

again. his agility drills were top end. not even taking into account his size 6’2″ 204 pounds. and i feel he could still add about 10 pounds on his frame without losing speed.

    short shuttle – 4.08 seconds
    3-cone – 6.75 seconds

combine that with intelligence, toughness, competitiveness. the intangibles are off the charts.

i hope his comments about goff aren’t just lip service.

i can’t get a read on jared. i have no idea how that’s going to go.

but kupp and robert woods. the wr corps. just in terms of professionalism. has gone up many notches.

from ESPN: Predicting the best NFL rookie on every team

From the No. 1 overall pick to small-school third-rounders, our NFL Nation reporters predict the rookie on every team who will have the biggest impact in 2017.

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/32for32x170509/predicting-best-2017-rookie-all-32-nfl-teams#NFC W

    Los Angeles Rams

    WR Cooper Kupp

Gerald Everett, a pass-catching tight end out of South Alabama who was selected 44th overall, is the most talented rookie on the Rams’ roster. But by the end of the year, Kupp, a third-rounder out of Eastern Washington, might end up with the best numbers. Kupp is a more polished receiver who operates best out of the slot and is primed to establish himself as something of a security blanket for Jared Goff. Kupp joins the Rams after a record-breaking collegiate career in finishing with 6,464 yards. He knows how to put up numbers. — Alden Gonzalez

Peter Schrager: Cooper Kupp will have 70 catches in 2017

NFL Network’s Peter Schrager makes a bold prediction for Rams rookie wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Some NFL observers predict big things for former Eastern Washington receiver Cooper Kupp

    http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2017/jun/03/some-nfl-observers-predict-big-things-for-former-e/

The Cooper Kupp controversy is in full swing in Southern California.

That should surprise his many fans at Eastern Washington, where in five years the most audacious thing Kupp did was grow a beard.

But that was all in fun. The NFL is all business, including the serious business of predicting Kupp’s future before he even plays a down for the Los Angeles Rams.

The spotlight has shone brighter after the Rams picked Kupp in the third round of the NFL Draft. The reviews were positive, but now they border on gushing after Kupp performed well in rookie camp.

In a recent “bold predictions” segment on the NFL Network morning show, Good Morning Football’s Peter Schrager said Kupp will be the most prolific rookie wide receiver in the league this year.

“This is the cat that I’m excited for,” Schrager said. “I don’t care that he went in the third round, I don’t care that everyone’s ‘oohing’ and ‘aahing’ over Corey Davis and John Ross and Mike Williams and Zay Jones and JuJu and all these guys.”

“I’m going to even throw a number out there,” Schrager said. “I think he’s going to have 70 catches this year.”

That’s a big number, one that’s been reached by only 16 rookies in NFL history.

Schrager tries to back up his prediction by pointing out that Kupp will be the “perfect safety net” for second-year quarterback Jared Goff.

“He’s not gonna screw up that route. He’s gonna make the play,” Schrager says of Kupp, who will need to make a lot of them to hit 70 catches.

That won’t happen, writes Sosa Kremenjas of Turfshowtimes.com, a Rams social media and news website. Kremenjas points out that the Bleacherreport.com ranks the Rams receiving corps third-worst in the league post-draft.

That’s actually one spot better than last year, when the Rams finished just ahead of San Francisco. It doesn’t help that most experts rank the Rams quarterbacks – Goff and Sean Mannion – fourth-worst in the NFL.

Of the most recent players to get 70 receptions in their rookie season – Keenan Allen, Kelvin Benjamin, Amari Cooper, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham – all had proven “home run” ability before their first game.

In other words, Kremejas says, Kupp will have to prove he’s long-ball worthy to increase his time on the field.
