BTW, all the banners around the training camp field were blue and white…

i’ve noticed that they’ve started going more blue and white with a lot of their logos and stuff. i like it. never was a fan of the blue and gold. preferred blue and yellow. but i think i could dig the blue and white.

I’m all for blue and white, but why change the logo colors several years before the uniform colors change? Isn’t it odd for the logo not to match the uniform?

Cool – my preference is a version of the old blue and white’s.

Most of you know this but after Rosenbloom bought the rams, they had the change from Blue and White to the Blue and Gold scheme that went to St Louis. For the new at that time uni design, there was supposedly an open contest in the LA papers that asked the readers\fans for their artistic rendition of what they thought the new uni’s should look like. There was an actual blank drawing of a player one could color and send in. Can’t remember what the 1st prize award was.

So, like many other 14ish year old ram fans, I sent mine in with the other 100k or so entries. The winner or winners were of course actual professional artists who submitted multiple mockups of both the home and road uni’s. Maybe my memory is faded 40 some odd years later but mine was actually pretty close to what they went with. I had looked at Washington’s uniforms at the time which I thought were really cool and used that as a template for what I thought the Rams should be like. Going back to bnw seems like a win. I was kind of hoping they’d at least split time with a couple of different versions – old and new – maybe that will still happen. White helmets with the old style blue horns.

This team doesn’t warrant gold and its highly likely the fans will be blue.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.
