True. While McVay is too heavy riff-based.

    Vermeil was too Neil Diamond.

    See? We’re revolutionizing coach assessment.

“Internal discussions revealed a committee member’s comment that Tomlin was “too hip-hop,” which reportedly played a role in choosing Cameron.”

sadly that does not surprise me one bit.

I see a lot of internet-celebrity-influencer-analyst-artificial-talking-heads predicting a high-scoring game between the Bears and Rams. I dont see that but I’m no expert.

May Fung Yee Pang is an American former music executive. She worked for John Lennon and Yoko Ono as a personal assistant and production coordinator. When Lennon and Ono separated in 1973, Pang and Lennon began a relationship that lasted more than 18 months. Lennon later referred to this time as his “Lost Weekend”. Wikipedia

Bills fired McDermott. Won-Loss record: 98-50. But 8-8 in playoffs.

Yer basic Chuck Knox, Marty Shottenheimer, etc.

Robert Saleh is the first Muslim head coach in the NFL.

Not sure how ICE is going to deal with this.

He’s actually the 2nd. The first was that Bob Saleh guy who was the Jets head coach from 2021 to 2023.

ICE handled it by finding ways to first undermine the Jets and then SF when he came back as their coordinator.

I would not love either the Browns or the Cards. The Raiders and Bills are in better positions. The Bills are good, and the Raiders are going to get Mendoza to go along with some pretty good pieces.

The Browns and Cards have bad QB situations, and no relieve in sight. And both of those organizations are dysfunctional, and you can’t get a new owner in the draft or FA. I think I’d wait, unless I was jobless right now.

I’d like someone to do a study on cap-space. Like is there a pretty clear relationship between having a lot of cap space and adding more wins the next year? Or not.

Here are the top seven teams with the most cap space for next year, according to one site. The scariest one is the Seahawks :

    Titans 93 million
    Raiders 81
    Chargers 80
    Seahawks 71
    Jets 66
    Commanders 63
    Bengals 46
    Rams 45 million.
