    Finally the offense came together.

Defense…is still young and with a hole or 2.

Loved the 4th and 5 in the 4th quarter, that was the game

    Offense did alright. 🙂

Rams kept punching back, that was good to see.

    And

    A Win!

With an unreliable kicking game and an unstoppable opposing QB, going for it on 4th down late in the game was clearly the right call. Glad it worked out. Puka is amazing. I hope his career is a long one. Kupp made great contributions blocking and receiving. The heavy lean to the running game in the first half was great. Call me old fashioned, but a successful run heavy offense is my favourite type of game to watch. It was also crucial in keeping a juggernaut like Allen off the field. Kyren Williams is still the king, but Corum is looking better every week.

I’m fairly disgusted in their performance today. I mean, this game was a gimme. When you play a decidedly inferior opponent, you got to put them away.

    Offense came up huge today….

everyone will talk about Puka’s huge TD, and Kupp’s great block on that play as well as Kupp’s TD earlier….but Atwell had some huge unsung catches to move the chains… (including on a critical 4th down)

Since the mid 70’s the Rams seem to have these shoot outs vs AFC East teams that they would lose….. today they got one….Stafford won the shoot out duel vs Josh…

Exciting win… let’s hope that it carries over to Thursday to end the 49ers season with a series sweep….. make it happen…

Great to see an entire game, and a win at that!

Stafford was pretty sharp throughout. About the only disappointment was a lack of a passrush, pretty much. Though Allen escaped from pressure several times. Excellent special teams block. Puka was amazing.

If they beat the 49ers Thursday, they have a really good chance to win the division . . . . Who would have thunk it a few weeks ago?

IMO? This looked liked the team that took Baltimore to overtime last year, in spite of having gone 3-6 before the bye.

    Except they won this one.

It was the first game where the OL was stable and fixed and cohesive (w/ Limmer at center as a year-long replacement) and both Kupp and Nacua played. (Rodrigue on this in her big article: “an offensive line that didn’t allow a sack in only its second game together as a group.”) All those elements were finally healthy together and in sync at the same time. So to me, it looked like the post-bye offense from 2023. Last year we were all equally surprised by the Baltimore game–we quite simply didn’t expect it.

With this difference. In 2023, Donald was playing, though with a young defense. In 2024, it’s just a young defense with no Donald. And also this difference–as good as Lamar Jackson is, Josh Allen is better. 😯

Anyway. I would be surprised if they didn’t win their last 4 regular season games. I don’t see them going far in the playoffs this year, but it will be nice to see the next 4 games.

well they had to play an almost perfect game. no turnovers committed. blocked punt returned for a td. they did get hosed on some defensive penalties that were not penalties.

but it’s a win. defense needs to be better, but that bills offense is crazy good. allen running around is just unfair almost.

puka was amazing. up and down year because of injuries but starting to play like his old self again. kupp clutch and unselfish. even tutu made some clutch plays. oline healthy and gelling.

man they really beat the bills. it’s farging crazy.

That has to come in second behind the game against KC for the most insane game. I kept thinking the Rams were going to be able to put a lid on Buffalo. Up 3 scores. Eventually, one would think, a TO or a couple of sacks would just bury them, but…no.

The Rams go up 38-21 after 3 quarters, and I’m thinking that oughta do it, but…no.

Good to see the offense put together its best performance of the year. They needed every point.

This improves the Rams’ prospects considerably. They have a one game lead over both SFO and AZ, and are only 1 back of Seattle. The Rams have only the Jets and a game against each of their division opponents left. Seattle has Green Bay next week, followed by Minnesota, and end the season in Los Angeles. The Rams might not even need that last game. I’d be surprised if they don’t win the division now.

So, is Chris Shula a mediocre Defensive Coordinator?
Or is he getting the most out of mediocre LBs and Secondary? People keep saying the DLine is pretty good, so I’m assuming the problems are in back of the DLine, mostly.

I’ve been wondering the same thing all season, but there was a lot of turnover on the roster, and there is considerable youth. And, you know, not having Aaron Donald makes a DC a few points dumber on the IQ scale.

    They added Forbes, FWIW.
