    I could see the Lakers spending the max on Mello, but would Kobe reduce his contract to get Lebron too?

    Or

    Can Lebron make so much money in LA / Hollywood outside of the Lakers/ NBA that he may want to take a lesser contract?

    If I was the Lakers I’d be chasing Lebron and tell Mello to stay with the Knicks.
