Over The Cap has the Rams with $21.2 million in cap space. That’s without accounting for cap hits of Witherspoon, Landman and Murchison – and also giving the Rams the cap space for Kupp’s post-June 1 release

Spotrac has us at -$3.1 mil. Neither number is right. We/they don’t have all the information yet…

    Some more cap hits:

    Ahkello: $1.255 mil
    Landman: 1.1
    Rivers: 1.1
    Murch: 1.03

All of these are at or close to the minimum and each replaces a $960k cap hit in the top 51, so not much change to the cap at all with these signings…

With Stafford, i think they’ve agreed in principle but haven’t actually done the deal so who knows when we see those numbers? And if the deal adds to the cap, maybe they wait, what’s the rush?

I think OTC is scoring it right if Kupp is not a June 1st cut. They’ve dumped his salary and are using the full dead cap number. Doing it that way, Rams have about $20 mil in cap space.

I don’t know if that’s right, but if it is, the point would be to take on dead money in 2025 and have no dead money in 2026.
