My concern is after the game we had, which was blowing out the Seahawks in Seattle, if we could have a possible let down next week.

I’m hoping for no let down, which is my big fear. But this is going to be the biggest regular season game in like 13 years? Win, and not only we get into the playoffs but our first divisional crown since 2001?

It will feel weird that we have a Rams-Titans game with Jeff Fisher not the Head Coach of either team.

I don’t think this team lets down.

I know that sounds like homer kool-aid stuff, but I don’t think it is. I think that’s real. I don’t think this team lets down.

Well they havent so far. Not once all season.

But if they are gonna — it would be next week. All that energy-emotion spent and then the big-blow-out. Now everyone is congratulating them. And there is desperate Tennessee…

    I don’t either.

Because they are new to winning, basically. And right now, they are drinking the Sean McVay Kool-Aid by the gallon. A team that has won some is probably more likely to have a letdown game somewhere in its maturation process than a team brand new to winning. The Rams MIGHT lose, but it will be a result of their greenhorn bungling, not because they take the game for granted.

Their tackles are great. Our outside rush will be contained. Our interior rushers should do well.

Their QB is struggling, but they can run the ball.

Their secondary is fair, their FS is a good ballhawk, but we should be able to throw on them

Casey is theirDonald, he’s a DT in a 3-4 scheme, but they move him around. Not like they say we move Donald around, but Casey DOES move independent of the line call.

As long as we don;t turn it over… this is decent matchup for Rams

Their tackles maybe great but Quinn at this point he’s been getting steadily better game by game and he destroyed Brown actually embarrassed him last week .

    from RockRam :

    Watched Titans-Niners, a few observations

    The Niners:

    1) Garapolo is good. But don’t buy the hype. He missed open receivers while not under pressure on numerous occasions.
    2) The Niners have several young WRs with potential; but none of them scare you.
    3) The Niners D is good but not elite. Solid. Can be be gashed in the run game and thrown over in the pass game.
    4) Hyde a pretty decent NFL RB but nothing special.

    The Titans:

    1) Passing game is inconsistent. So is Marriotta. Only 12 TDs and has 14 INTs.
    2) Delaney is the center of their passing game. Love the guy. Limit Delaney and you’ve greatly disrupted the Titan’s passing game.
    3) Two good, tough, skilled RBs. Only one (Murray) is a receiving threat.
    4) Good solid D, that allows about 3 ppg more than the Rams.
    5) Marriotta is mobile, but nowhere on the level of Rogers in the pocket or Wilson out of the pocket. I suspect he’s not 100%.
    6) Good oline that I thought would play better when I listen to the media types.

i hope the rams are up for this game. just go in with the mindset of putting this division away quick. limited use of gurley and sit him early.

then next week sit gurley against the niners.

probably won’t be that easy but i can hope anyway.

I wonder who Jeff Fisher is rooting for?

I wonder who Chuck Knox pulled for last week?

I wonder who DV rooted for vs Philly ? Bradford Jaws and Gabriel… Eagles?

I think DV is a Rams fan

To me this is more of a ‘statement’ game than the Seahawk game. (The Seahawks were so crippled i just totally dismiss that game.)

The Titans are a winning, desperate team, playing at home. This is the kind of December game, teams like Pitt and New England WIN. Its usually close — but they find a way to win in the fourth quarter.

If a Field Goal gets blocked I’m going to complain about picking a kicker who relies on a ‘low trajectory’.

Win this one, and they can have a bye against the 49ers.

I was recently in a debate elsewhere, in which a crowd of adamant Rams fans declared that winning in the 4th quarter is a sign of a bad team. GOOD qbs have it all sewed up by the 3rd quarter.

Some, to be fair, were just arguing that they disliked games like that. Too tense.

big challenge now is stopping that offense.

It’s unusual for me but I just feel confident the Rams win this game–and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Wouldn’t it be weird if Ogeltree made a game saving tackle on the 1 yard line?

a little weird. even weirder if they were wearing their old blue and yellows. and fisher was still coaching the rams.

We still need to beat the 9ers for that 3rd seed. Unless both the Saints and Panthers lose. If something shocking happens, the Vikings lose to the Packers and Bears, and the Panthers lose one of their two remaining games, we can get a first round bye, by winning our last two games.

    Sack percentages, Offense

    LA 5.12% (9th)
    Tenn 6.64% (17th)

    Sack percentages, Defense

    LA 8.87% (2nd)
    Tenn 6.83% (13th)

So, basically, the Tenn defense gets a lower percentage while the Rams offense allows a lower percentage, and the Tenn offense allows a higher percentage while the Rams defense gets a higher percentage.

I say, Mariota will go down.

i am desperately hoping for a huge game from quinn.

he’s already had a strong run of games here, but it’d be cool to see him top it off with a career game today.

multiple strip sacks. weekend at bernie’s!

this guy could take this team from a playoff team to a legit superbowl contender.
