Well. I’ve never had NFL Ticket, and wouldn’t have got it no matter what anyway.

I am not going to buy season tickets this year. I am not even going to get NFL Ticket. That’s that.

You have to be odd, to be number one.

I think thats the plan.
They draft Mariota and then
trade him for Bradford.Anywayz — Big gambles by both teams but
especially the Eagles. The Eagles have
a high-risk, high-reward QB now. Quite a gamble.
It could go either way. I thought it was telling
in that article up above that they have a lot of faith
in their conditioning and strength program. They think
they can keep SB healthy. I also think its interesting
just how much they admire his skill as a player.w

I’m cool with continuing to fleece the NFC East – maybe the Giants wanna give up that crazy haired receiver they drafted last year for half a stick of gum and an empty Budweiser can?
Hey Jerry, I’ll take Dez off your hands and a coupla those olinemen you got laying around for a used can of hairspray and this Styx 8-track.

vI think all of that (quite obviously) was crucial in the entire trade thing. Kelly does a lot of new-fangled things with training and conditioning, and is kind of football new-agey in how he does things.

vMarch 12, 2015 at 12:20 am #20151NERamParticipantI had it all worked out from my little GM seat on the couch – the Rams would pick up a couple of water buffaloes for the OL, and Bradford would come back to top form, throwing successfully to a not bad group of receivers.
Now that that little bubble has burst, the OL is still a concern. Foles is coming off an injury, and it has been said that he is not good under pressure. Hope they keep him safe and happy.
Think he’ll be “horns-worthy”?

Yeah. I was looking forward to seeing Bradford in a decent environment, too.
I think Foles will be one of those quarterbacks I will have to think hard to remember in ten years when we try to list all of the QBs who started between Warner and Whoever.
But I’m going to do a little Ganesh puja tomorrow, and hope for the best.

vYes just about 10″.

Yeah, I was just thinking about that. I would say if he’s still there around 6 or 7, the Rams may jump up and get him. I think we’ll know more about their willingness to give up picks after free agency. Will the Rams get the O-line addressed by the draft? If so, it’s time to think about drafting the next young QB prospect. Foles is a place-holder, in my mind. It’s also possible the Rams have some other QB in their sights with the 2nd round pick, and could move up from that pick to get their guy. But, I expect the Rams to draft a QB even more today than before the Bradford trade.

Not tellin ya what to do, or nothin, but you might wanna rethink that. Read the bolded text below. There it is, in black & white, spelled out very cleanly.
“Puja instructions.
In performing the puja, preparation is of utmost importance—gathering flowers, cleaning the altar and puja tray, making
ready the oil lamps and preparing the fruit and/or cooked food offering. It is common to chant a Ganesha mantra or softly
sing devotional songs while performing these tasks. This quiets the mind and brings one’s awareness close to Him. Indeed,
all this preparation is an integral part of worship.
As you see in the photos, there are a number of traditional implements needed for the puja, such as a metal tray, holy water cups and spoons, ghee lamp, camphor lamp, as well as puja supplies, like holy ash and sandalwood paste. These are now available at Indian grocery stores, and online at http://www.minimela.com. If you need help with setting up an altar, one source of information is our four-page Hinduism Today Educational Insight called “Hindu Home Sanctuary,” available at:
http://www.himalayanacademy.com/resources/pamphlets/homeshrine/
Before beginning the puja, check the altar to make sure all necessary articles are there, so that you don’t have to interrupt the flow of puja to get a missing item. Arrange all the items the same way for each puja so you can reach automatically when needed, with those most frequently used closest at hand.
Hold the attitude that, as pujari, you are a servant of the Gods, a channel for the spiritual energies. Only thoughts of God are on your mind as you perform puja, thus enhancing the outpouring of divine blessings. Tradition provides a caution: you should never perform puja during or within 31 days of experiencing severe anger or other deep emotional upset, but it is all right to attend”.Given all of the raw emotion and angst over “The Trade”, I’m thinking you probably wanna steer away from this. At least 31 days. It does say you can attend, just not do your own. Maybe start slow, and work up to something next month, or after OTA’s begin.

Ah, GEEZ, that pisses me off. I already bought the camphor lamp.
Damn, Damn, Damn.

March 13, 2015 at 1:03 am #20323AgamemnonParticipantAnd back to Cleveland for a moment, there’s a real buzz around the team that they offered Philadelphia one of those two first round picks – the 12th and 19th – for QB Sam Bradford after the Eagles had acquired him from the Rams earlier in the week. Stay tuned!
The 19th and their own the 20th, might be enough to go as high as the Oakland with #4. Depending on how the draft falls, Mariota could still be very much in play for the Eagles. imo

Well… we will get to see that. Just not with him as a Ram.
March 13, 2015 at 3:21 pm #20381znModeratorJeff Fisher: Other teams wanted Bradford, but we wanted Foles
by Michael David Smith
http://bleacherreport.com/tb/dgbCy
Rams coach Jeff Fisher says the Eagles weren’t the only team that approached him about acquiring Sam Bradford in a trade. The Eagles were just the only team that offered a quarterback the Rams thought could be their starter.
Fisher said today on PFT Live that the Rams had previously been offered a late first-round draft pick for Bradford and turned that down, because until recently the Rams were planning on keeping Bradford in St. Louis.
“There were some discussions, yes, but from our standpoint, the first-round pick — obviously it’s attractive, but you still don’t have a quarterback. It’s a late pick and then would we move up and get into position to draft one? It didn’t make sense to us,” Fisher said.
The Rams only changed course on their willingness to trade Bradford when the Eagles called and offered Nick Foles.
“We’ve moved on, we’ve got Nick here, and we’re really happy about it,” Fisher said.
Right now, both Fisher and Chip Kelly are happy with their new quarterbacks. It remains to be seen whether both men are happy with those trades at this time next year.
