i don’t think he’ll be on the bench.
i do expect them to be very careful with gurley though. i think they ease him in during the second half of the season with mason and cunningham handling duties in the first half. and by the end of the season i expect him to be splitting duties with mason.
in 2016, i think he see him splitting duties with mason full-time. around 220-240 carries.
the added benefit with gurley is that he’s going to have a big part in the receiving game as well. just get the ball to him in open space and watch him tear defenses up. hopefully not his knee… guh!
rams have needed more explosive playmakers on offense for awhile now. that’s what gurley gives them.
titans looked great with chris johnson and a focused lendale white. i think mason and gurley could totally give that same dominant rushing attack with the rams.
