Great game. Awesome win for the Rams.

Rams notes from 44-42 win over Bills to improve to 7-6:
    *Never trailed
*Improve to 4-0 without a turnover
*Over .500 for the first time
    *17 min TOP advantage
    *Season high point total
*Beat the Bills at home for first time since 1983

Fun Facts: Rams snap Bills 7-game winning streak and 2-game SoFi Stadium losing streak.

    Huge win !!

    Offense played great

Defense was bad today but Josh Allen is the most talented QB in league for sure

    Los Angeles Rams PR@TheLARamsPR
QB Matthew Stafford surpassed 3,000 passing yards in a single season for the 12th time in his career, becoming the 13th-different quarterback to accomplish the feat in NFL history.

The win against Buffalo and the Seahawks beating shorty and the Cardinals ensures that Rams can somewhat still control their destiny in the NFC West. Win out and you’re in the dance. Any loss the Seahawks or Cardinals have is just a bonus now.

    Rams24/7@Rams24_7
Rams gotta be the worst RB screen defending team in the league. It’s in the scouting report and teams continue to go to it til we show we can stop it

Rams DBs with zero awareness outside of Cobie Durant. Several plays today, including that one, the DB turns their head around and it’s a PBU

The Rams and Bills offenses put on a show 🍿

    💥 902 total yards
    💥 11 TDs
    💥 53 first downs
    💥 0 sacks taken

    Rams24/7@Rams24_7
Don’t look now but Rams 8/9 in the RZ the past 2 weeks

0 sacks allowed the past 2 games too

    roberto clemente@rclemente2121
in the 138 games mcvay has head-coached the rams, the rams have scored 24+ points in the first half 10 times – they are 10-0 in those games.

    Aaron Schatz@ASchatzNFL
That was a truly amazing game of quarterback play for both Stafford and Allen.

    Vinny Calabrese@VinnyCal
All things considered this is the best offensive performance in the Stafford era. They needed to score all 44 of these points and they answered the bell against a great team with a great QB

“[Josh Allen] is a nightmare to defend…. That’s why he’s a legitimate MVP candidate.” – Sean McVay

    Scott Pioli@scottpioli51
Josh Allen of the @BuffaloBills just became the first player in #NFL history to rush for 3 TDs and pass for 3 TDs in a game

Rams vs. Bills is the first game in NFL history to have over 850 combined yards with 0 turnovers and 0 sacks. Flawless offense.

TE Hunter Long told me he heard two “thuds” – the ball off the punter’s foot, then the ball hitting Jake Hummel’s outstretched arm. Then, he said, “I blacked out.” His first NFL TD, a scoop-and-score off a blocked punt, was a catalyst for the Rams today.

My game ball goes to Sean McVay & offensive staff: That was elite, right at the critical juncture of the season when the Rams had to have it. Letter perfect in game management decisions, personnel usage, game plan design and play call execution. One of the best in recent years.

The Rams entered the game converting just 33% of their third-down attempts (30th in the NFL) this season.

On Sunday against the Bills, they finished 11-of-15 (73%) on third down, their highest third-down conversion percentage in a game since Dec. 2001. (ESPN Research)

    Stafford9@LAR9MS
Matthew Stafford was the highest graded QB this week.

He is currently 8th on the season.

Half an Oline for 5 weeks, No Kupp or Nacua for 4-5 games and still no Higbee.

Playing out of his mind again like last year and 2021.

    PFF LA Rams@PFF_Rams
Matthew Stafford had a 143.3 passer rating from a clean pocket vs the Bills

    HIGHEST-GRADED PLAYERS
QB Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams (93.5)
WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams (93.3)
T Alaric Jackson, Los Angeles Rams (92.6)’

    Rams Bros.@RamsBrothers
Everything we talked about in this weeks episode came to life in perfect harmony today. Bills defend poorly against condensed formations. Stafford off play-action is a killer. Involve the RB’s more in the pass game. More quick dump-offs, screens, etc. Don’t get away from the run game. Take well-timed shots.

Flawless offensive performance today. #Rams threw everything at Buffalo with aggression and got a massive win in their home stadium.

    Los Angeles Rams PR@TheLARamsPR
ILB Jacob Hummel’s (@jakehumms) blocked punt in the second quarter was the first punt block by a Rams player since Cory Littleton in Week 7 of 2018 vs. San Francisco. TE Hunter Long (@HunterLong also recorded his first career touchdown on the blocked punt and became the first Ram to score a touchdown on a blocked punt since Blake Countess in Week 3 of 2018 vs. Los Angeles Chargers.

From ESPN Research: This is the first time the Rams have scored 40+ points in a game started by Matthew Stafford. Including the playoffs, this is Stafford’s 59th start with the Rams.

They needed every one of these 44 points today.

This is the second time since the Rams drafted Puka Nacua that Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams and Nacua all scored a touchdown. According to ESPN Research, they also did it in Week 13 of the 2023 season against the Browns.

    Stu Jackson@StuJRams
Kyren Williams’ 87 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns today vs. Bills gave him 1,013 rushing yards and 12 rushing TDs on the season.

Back-to-back seasons with more than 1,000 rushing yards and double-digit rushing TDs for him

BTW, did anybody get a good look at the XP that Karty missed? They didn’t show a replay of it. I thought the snap/hold was botched, but…no replay or comment from Tom the Genius Brady.
