From the NFL’s release on a bonkers Sunday of football:

You can see the accuracy drain on Goff in this weather anytime he tries to drive the football. In his career outdoors in the cold, he’s a sub 60% completion passer.

This was my favorite play from the other games, Sunday. I dunno who this 270 Lb tight end is, but he is Old School.

ESPN sources: Falcons QB Michael Penix suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Panthers. Penix will be seeking a second opinion, but it is not encouraging.

    Oh, my.

Well, they still have Cousins, and I doubt he is much of a dropoff. I haven’t seen the Falcons play this year, but I haven’t heard anything about Penix that made me think he was exceling. Like…at all. Not even in spots.

The NFL is so weird this year. Who are the Chiefs? Ravens? Lions? Eagles? Jags? Colts? Falcons? 49ers? Packers? Bears?

Someone on the radio said there’s no complete teams in the AFC, but the one unit that looks better than every other single-unit in the AFC is — the Broncos defense. I agree with that.

Broncos offense also has Payton, and is ranked 13th in yards & 17th in points, which is enough when your defense is ranked 3rd & 3rd. Though they just lost their RB, Dobbins.

“…Early in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 11 game against the Detroit Lions, All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson slowly made his way to the locker room with a foot injury. On Monday, it was reported that Johnson suffered a Lisfranc injury and could miss 4-6 weeks — while that wouldn’t make the injury season-ending, it would likely land him on injured reserve through most of the back-half of the regular season.”

    A stat.

The Seattle Seahawks currently have the most giveaways (turnovers) in the NFL with 20, while the Chicago Bears have forced the most turnovers from opponents with 22. The Seahawks also have the league’s highest turnover rate at 17.3% of drives ending in a turnover, according to NFL.com
