I still have bad memories of him. He didn’t seem healthy last year. Maybe health will remain an issue going forward.
Some WR trade compensation from the past year:
Samuel for a 5th round pick
Amari Cooper for a 3rd, 7th and 6th round picks
Davante Adams for a 3rd round pick
Stefon Diggs for a 2nd round pick
DeAndre Hopkins 5th round pick that may have turned into a 4th rounder
Given his contract and recent injuries, I don’t think Kupp fits in with this group. Maybe it’s a similar scenario to Samuel (very different players I know, but health wise both seem to have issues). I don’t know enough about how Kupp and Samuel’s contracts compare though. Anyway, I’m still betting that there isn’t a big market for Kupp with what he is due to earn this year, and that he gets cut rather than traded. He will be a good pick up for some team with a young qb though. Maybe the Rams squeeze a conditional 6th or 7th rounder out of someone, but I doubt it.
