    I would’ve never guessed that Al was a Rams fan either….

    He used to do play by play for the SF Giants in the mid 70’s…he came to SF from the The Big Red Machine, then the 1980 US Hockey team launched his career to go national.

    He and Colinsworth are the last few national football guys that I can bear to listen too……Not many national broadcast teams that I like anymore…. too bad Bill Walton doesn’t do football games… He’s the last great national broadcaster that I absolutely love to listen to….

    Charlie Joiner, Dick Enberg, Summerall, Gowdy, Trumpy, not many great national broadcast football guys anymore…. maybe Aikman….
