May 7, 2020 at 9:27 pm #114701canadaramParticipantI just can’t get excited about the schedule right now. Sitting here in May I can’t imagine a scenario where it will be safe to have a normal regular season.

Week 6 at 49ers (Sunday night)

Couple hard turnaround weeks and lots of time on the east coast … but the wins and losses look favorable.

3 of first five games on east coast
Four of the last six are at home
And five of the last eight

5 of 6 divisional games are after the Bye. we should be a well oiled machine by then. and, the first divisional game is week 6 against the whiners.Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
I could see anything from 7-9 to 11-5LindseyThiry@LindseyThiry
Right now, mostly based on departures and unproven replacements, I have them at 8-8. It’s a brutal division, and a pretty tough schedule.Albert Breer@AlbertBreer
There are collapsible elements to the schedule (all teams share a bye with their Week 2 opponents). All shows this a preference: moving back things over shortening
Another thing that I didn’t know beforehand: As part of the bid process, cities contending to host Super Bowls must have contingency dates cleared in case the NFL has to delay the game.
So Tampa has those for Super Bowl LV.

Spoke to some big brokers tonight.Secondary sales of NFL tickets are roughly 15 percent of what they normally are when the schedule is released.

8) Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams
Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 13 at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBCAnticipation surrounding the opening of SoFi Stadium — the gorgeous, state-of-the-art addition to Inglewood that will house the Rams and Chargers — is understandably peaking. Talking to Rams COO Kevin Demoff on my SiriusXM Radio show a few weeks ago, his excitement poured through the phone connection. Football’s been back in Los Angeles for a few years now, but this really feels like the start of something new and wonderful. This will be home. This will be ritzy. This will be L.A. football. Sean McVay’s Rams, fresh off a disappointing, playoff-free 9-7 campaign, will be looking to open up SoFi Stadium in style. And to have “America’s Team” as the first visitor to this grand new building? Well, that’s quite a juicy Hollywood hook.
Plus, this will be Mike McCarthy’s first game coaching the Cowboys in what could be a special ride. It’ll be CeeDee Lamb’s first NFL game! One day before Dallas stole Lamb at No. 17 overall, I talked to the Oklahoma product on SiriusXM Radio, and he stressed how much he loves playing in the spotlight. Well, in his professional debut, he has it! And CeeDee absolutely possesses the big-game savvy to wear Dallas’ famed No. 88. I can’t wait to see it! Will Dak Prescott be signed to a long-term deal by then?
