Well, they aren’t as good without Gurley.

I’m glad they played Keenum the past few games so I could see what he has to offer. Hopefully, the Rams can upgrade the QB position before next season. They’ll have some options. I’m not sure if a rookie project appeals to me at this point.

What was true before the game is true after the game. I am surprised anybody won it. 😉

Keenum’s a gamer but he’s just not good enough. He misses on too many throws. Definitely need an upgrade at QB.

this is a very bad 9er team. how they go from beating seattle at seattle to losing to the niners is beyond me. and i realize that gurley didn’t play today, but the 9ers are bad.

Heard some of the game off and on. Sounded too ugly to watch. Frustrating awful football. I hope next year is better but I just have no confidence it will.

One thing is certain: playoffs or bust.

    8-8 not good enough.

9-7 if it gets them in–fine.

    Otherwise Fisher HAS to go.

I will probably go to my grave without understanding how a blocker on a FG attempt can see an opponent on his outside shoulder, and let the guy run straight toward the kicker, without making any attempt to slow the guy down.

I know, I know, I played defense, so I have no understanding of the complexities of offensive blocking, but man, even a chip to slow the guy down for a step, would have been enough.

Absolutely cannot understand leaving someone untouched know like that.

Keenum is not the most accurate and missed some throws… but at the same time, Quick, Britt and Tavon need to the catch the ball when it hits their hands…..it’s been years since the Rams have a had a decent receiver that can make a fucking play by catching a ball….

Also, and other double digit penalty day….. the lack of penalty discipline cost the Rams some winnable games this season…

speaking of penalties, shouldn’t PI been called twice on the Hekker’s floater to Marquez on the fake punt attempt or the horse collar tackle on Tavon? WTF… too bad Hekker didn’t deliver a better pass on that, but geez, throw a flag on that…. (BTW, During programe warmups, Hekker was under center quite a bit)

The broadcast team talked about that pass interference on the Hekker throw. The officals (gasp!) missed a call!

The penalties is what got me, too. Damn penalties. How many times does this team hurt themselves like this?

Having said all that, really, the Niners just played better, and if they hadn’t stepped on their own feet several times in Rams’ territory, they could have easily won this game. The Rams didn’t score a single point after the half, and only scored a TD due to a great defensive play.

    Gurley ‘is’ the offense.

If you are a DC, what else is out there
on the field you would worry about?

They need to draft or sign a couple of
offensive playmakers that give a DC
    somethin to worry about.

    Thats do-able, i would think.

I think what will happen is the Rams will fire David Lynch, only to re-hire him several seasons previous to this, before they originally hired him. But. Will it be him? Ask the cowboy, I bet he knows.

Ok, but I’m for Firing the first David Lynch,
and keeping the second David Lynch.

Though, I think the second David Lynch
needs to be waterboarded until he agrees
    to hire a new playcaller.
