    The Rams team has not yet arrived, but that doesn’t mean we can’t party like they were. The 2016 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, featuring all-star players from college football, will be coached by TWELVE former Rams, including:

    MIKE MARTZ – Rams assistant 1992-1996, 1998-1999/head coach 2000-2005
    GIL HASKELL – Rams assistant 1983-1991
    NOLAN CROMWELL – Rams player 1977-1987/assistant 2010-2011
    CADILLAC WILLIAMS – Rams player 2011
    LARRY BROOKS – Rams player 1972-1982/assistant 1983-1990
    JOHN RAMSDELL – Rams assistant 1995-2005
    RON MEEKS – Rams assistant 2001
    JEFF ROBINSON – Rams player 1997-2001, 2005
    JACKIE SLATER – Rams player 1976-1995
    AZ-ZAHIR HAKIM – Rams player 1998-2001… See More

    This is at the Stubb Hubb Center in Carson and I believe is broadcast on the NFL network.

    Yeah. Well, practically every single player on that defense was a pro bowler.

    There was Brudzinski and Cromwell, too, but I’m not sure who all was on the roster at the same time.

    Anyway. Boy. Those were some good defensive years. Tough to stand out when you’re surrounded by teammates like that.

    Brudzinski replaced Robertson, I think.
    Mike Fanning and Cody Jones should be listed too.

    I met Rod Perry’s son once. He beamed when I talked about his dad.
